Would have been a very good deal if it had a 3D version of Avatar.

For most people (except for true fans) getting 3 slightly different versions of the same movie plus 2 discs of extra features is pretty pointless. Cheap overall with the bonus movie (and some quality ones at that) but you might as well wait for the 3D edition to come down in price!

    • me too. At first I over see 3 disks to be as 3D.

    • Not possible mate, Avatar 3D is still exclusive to Panasonic till early next year. I can't believe they agreed on such long period, I wondered how much Panny paid to lure those Fox exs >_<

As above . I'll wait for the collectors extended directors cut 3d version . I can't believe how much they milk these things . Then again I'll probably be over it by then .

  • It's a terrible movie to begin with, let alone having three different versions of it.

      i agree.

  • James Cameron and his resume for World of Warcraft movie, too bad Blizzard can't afford him…

    • He'd only be able to set the film in Nagrand.

Hurry up and release Avatar 2 and 3 Jim. Loved the movie, but I will admit the rewatchability is on the poor side.

  • Good deal! My bluray collection is growing…at this prices its cheaper than renting from something like bigpond, not that I do but even torrents feel like a waste of time at this quality/prices

  • must … have … avatar 3d

  • I was thinking this was the bigger better edition with the post cards book etc which sells for $60-70 here

  • Great deal, but do they ship to Australia? Since I cannot enter an Australian address when I create my account

    • Yes they do.. have ordered from there before..

Just got this deal with Speed (which I've been eyeing off for a while) but it was a close call between Speed, Silence of the Lambs and 28 Weeks Later

      • "…. but it was a close call between Speed, Silence of the Lambs and 28 Weeks Later"

I understand the close call. Those three movies are basically the same movie just remade three times!!

      • Thanks SirFlibbled,

I am trying to place an order, but when it comes to delivery address, I cannot see Australia as an option for countries.

Just wondering how do you enter your delivery address.

        Thank you very much.

        • @gorolla, funny you say that - I constantly order from them, but when a mate tried last nite it took 3 web browsers and clearing of cache before it would allow different worldly locations for a profile.

All I can say is keep trying - once you have a profile - it'll always be there for Australia posting.

          1. Create an Account
          2. Go to My Account
          3. Click Address Book on the Righ side Panel
          4. Add New Address with Country as Australia
          5. Order Item
          6. ???
          7. Pandora Profit
        • Thanks naphman for giving the tip that it might be a browser issue.

Tried IE on Windows and Australia appears in the country list (I normally uses Safari on Mac)

Thank you all for the help. Order placed with Resident Evil (was juggling with Speed or Resident Evil, but my gaming side won)

  • Terrific price. Grabbing one.
But there's this thing with buying online, you feel like you haven't bought anything for yourself yet the moneys spent.
Thats how I feel when my balance is empty and yet I continue to receive parcels from overseas every few days.

  • Looks like the deal is no longer working properly. Adding Avatar + MAN On Fire or Avatar + Resident Evil costs 5GBP extra. Same in Zavvi or The Hut
