Earn US $30+ in Crypto Currency by Watching Some Short Videos @ Coinbase

740

Block.one had their keynote yesterday and highlighted their educational program where you can earn $US10 of EOS on Coinbase, by watching some very short videos and answering a simple multiple choice question. Noticed there were some other cryptocurrencies also able to be scored.

You’ll need a Coinbase account.

Who knows, in a few years you may be rich :)

To do this you need to verify yourself. To do this you need to give them a pic of your license or passport etc. Not worth it for $10.

    • +8

…or already have a Coinbase account which a lot of people interested in crypto already do.

      • I already had one too. Just don't want to give them my ID for $10

        • How about $43?

I'm reminded of the Simpson's episode where Bart gets stock options from a toilet roll dispenser in the startup they working in.

Anyone answered the quiz? Care to share the answers??

    • +3

Sorry, I can't remember them but if you get it wrong you can try again and the answer is usually one of 2 of obvious ones. You also don't have to watch the whole video. You can answer the quiz after about 10 seconds of video

      • +2

This. There's only one question per video and the answer is usually so obvious you'd have to be a moron not to get it. Literally 5 mins of work.

Is there anyway to sell the blockchain once you earn in? Or is it just stuck in an account indefinitely

    • You can withdraw, I did. Or sell.

      • cheers, but when i try it says trading isnt avaliable in Australia for some reason.
        Anyone else having this problem?

        • Not sure how jaxxon did it, but I'm stuck. There seems to be a way by transferring or sending your digital currencies to another wallet and then withdrawing, but I'm not sure.

@CarbonMini: Yep just worked it out myself. Convert to bitcoin within your account and then use livingroomofsatoshi to send to your bank account by sending it to them. Takes a few $ out of total and you cant use BAT but still decent $20 for twenty minutes work all up.

          • @CarbonMini: I just transferred EOS to my own wallet.

  • Cheers for the free $, also, anyone find a good way to convert BAT to ETH or the likes?

    • Yeah do it in GDAX aka pro.coinbase.com (uses same login as coinbase proper). There's a BAT-ETH trading pair so you can easily convert and send wherever you like from there

  • Thanks mate nice pick up! Hadn't logged into my coinbase for around a year as their fees aren't great but this definitely pulled me back.

  • Still dont know how to withdraw…..can someone please share the process to withdraw (step by step) 😭 thanks

    • I think what I will be doing is using my Independent Reserve/BTC Markets account to transfer the cryptos and sell it for AUDs there.

    • You may have figured it out by now, this is how I'm doing it:

      Sign up for Coin Jar
Verify your Identity, this took about 15mins
Add a linked bank account, you need to verify the amounts they deposit so this could take a business day

Choose the currency to convert to in Coinbase, Ethereum or Bitcoin seem to be the ones supported by Coin Jar. You can send the few $$$ in the Coinbase Wallet to your Coinbase Ethereum address or just directly to your Coin Jar Ethereum address (if you got some from the DAI quiz). There is already a Bitcoin account in Coin Jar, you can add an Ethereum one easily.

Once you have converted them all to your chosen currency you can send it to your Coin Jar Bitcoin or Ethereum address.

Then it looks like your just transfer to your linked bank account, I'm just waiting to verify my bank account.

You can now earn up to USD 6 on DAI - a stable coin that aims to give USD 1 per DAI.

    • +3

      Answer for DAI

      1) Decentralized stable coin.
      2) Open CDP
      3) Decentralized and borderless

  • Thanks. I converted al but BAT to Litecoin. I have no idea why. I can not seem to do anything with BAT. I will leave this there just in case…

  • Thanks, overlooked this previously
This plus DAI for an easy 50 bucks

  • Found this a bit late but managed to earn a handful of coins that hadn't yet been redeemed. I'll keep my eye on this for new coins in future. Who's going to argue with free money? :)

  • New earning opportunity (only $6, but better than nothing) on Coinbase for Tezos, i had to join the waitlist for about 14 hours to do 3 easy quizzes but its bumped up my balance to make up recent losses lol

  • Some of these are no longer available, but there are new ones available. I got 67.xx AUD worth this morning from ones that are still available, plus another $3.xx from the DAI one as they deposit another currency. I went on the waitlist 2 days ago. Note the DAI $14 tutorial is a bit slow to verify each step you do and you may need to go back a few mins later.

If you want the money in your bank account, this is how I did it, I don't know if it's the best/easiest way:

After you've added yourself to the waitlists for the ones still available, sign up for Coin Jar
Verify your Identity, this took about 15mins
Add a linked bank account, you need to verify the amounts they deposit so this could take a business day

Once you receive the currency from the quizzes you can choose the currency to convert to in Coinbase, Ethereum or Bitcoin seem to be the ones supported by Coin Jar. You can send the few $$$ in the Coinbase Wallet to your Coinbase Ethereum address or just directly to your Coin Jar Ethereum address. There is already a Bitcoin account in Coin Jar, you can add an Ethereum one easily.

Once you have converted them all to your chosen currency you can send it to your Coin Jar Bitcoin or Ethereum address.

I'm just waiting to verify my linked bank account, it looks like after that you just transfer to your linked bank account, so far I'm down to 65.xx AUD + 3.xx, I'm not sure how much I will end up getting but I can't imagine it will be under $60. I'm not sure how much is fees, currency fluctuations or rounding. If I remember I'll update once the $$ hit my account.

    • I ended up getting a total of 67.76 AUD, plus the $0.46 from them confirming my bank account

  • Tezos videos are still going, earn about $6. Anyone know if XLM or EOS are still going?

  • I try to watch BAT video from start to finish (several times) but I am not getting any quiz after watching one video after the other.

    What am i missing?

How to get the quiz and earn coin?

    • It's been broken for a bit, not sure how long

  • Where does one source my own referral link for the lesson referrals if I want to give it to a friend? (Not the one where the friend has to buy $148 crypto)

    • At the end of the quiz once you have completed it, it has “Give your friends the gift of…” available for XLM, EOS and OXT

  • You can earn about $65 all up by doing 5 sets of quizzes. You don't need to watching the whole video, the question is available 10 to 15 seconds in.

  • What's the best way to buy BitCoin on Coinbase without incurring all the fees? I signed up with a referral link and you have to buy US$100 of BitCoin to get US$10 bonus, however when I was trying to purchase A$160 the fee was around $6? Is there any way to reduce this fee by paying with a different payment method or buying the BitCoin elsewhere and transferring it in, etc?

I was able to claim the other FREE coins before without providing this photo ID

      • I don't know, I already have a verified account so I don't have to be asked again. Maybe it's a new Coinbase requirement?

        • I was able to claim almost all earn and earn rewards from Coinbase but when I tried on BNAD, it was asking me to upload ID.

It says i will be on a waitlist or if i want to earn immediately, I have to provide ID
