price just got jacked to $27, so only comes to $22 now

    • Which item got jacked? There are two at around $22. Thanks in advance.

My fault, I had the wrong price in the title.

        • Groovy :)

  • are the 64gb cards being phased out this year?

  • Nice deal, I brought a single one from them a week ago for $28.

  • Sandisk 64GB is out of stock.

  • was about to pull the trigger, but man. how many sd cards do I really need?

    • +4

      more than you already have.

      • +2

$9.99 to post an SD card … pass

    • How much should it be?

      • +10

well this is OzBargain .. so $0 with some cashback rewards ;-)

      • +3

these easily fit in a large letter envelope. so $2 max. would probably fit in regular envelope for $1

        • +2

So they charge you $2 (because a $1 stamp is limited to 5mm thick and this is thicker)

eBay then takes 10% of that so they only get $1.80.

They need to buy a $2 stamp so have now lost 20 cents
Then they have to buy an envelope so they have now lost another 15 cents.

Then somebody needs to pack and post it, and mark it as sent. That takes 5 minutes and costs about $1.50.

          They have now lost $1.85.

Then because they were cheap and sent it in an envelope with no packaging it arrives broken so they need to send you another one.
          They've now lost another $10.

Or because they sent it as a letter which has no tracking you claim it didn't arrive so they send you another. They've lost $10.

Or because you are not supposed to send hard things that don't bend as letters it arrives at your house with a notice to pay Australia Post $10 in extra fees.
They've lost $10 plus you left them negative feedback.

Or they could charge $9.99 to cover the actual cost of sending it as a parcel that has protection and tracking.

@spaceflight: so wrong on so many levels..

            • @ironworthy: Feel free to explain how.

              • +1

@spaceflight: by your calculation anyone who doesn't charge over and above parcel rates is making a loss. i see free shipping on many items, i assure you theyre not making a loss. it is factored into the item cost. even if they don't, it doesn't cost $10 to send a micro sd card with tracking. not even with AP's exorbitant prices

                  @ironworthy:

by your calculation anyone who doesn't charge over and above parcel rates is making a loss

That's correct. It actually costs a store more than just the parcel rates to send a parcel.

i see free shipping on many items, i assure you theyre not making a loss. it is factored into the item cost

As you said, free postage is factored into the selling price.
Selling something with plus postage means that the postage cost is not factored into the selling price.

it doesn't cost $10 to send a micro sd card with tracking

I know, but from the $10 the store only gets $9 after selling fees.
Then they have all the other related costs of sending a parcel.

        • .. they usually get sent registered too don't they?

      • +3

        Shouldn't be more than $2-3

Expensive envelope and stamp. Will pass on the excessive postage

        • +2

Excessive postage. No deal for me. Thank you.

        • +2

These crooks tried to shortchange Australia Post last time I got my microSD cards. Underpaid postage and there was a note on the envelope saying Auspost were following this up with the sender. Plus they took ages to deliver, offered no compensation and then asked me to consider reversing my negative feedback after I tried about 5 times to get them to make it right.

        • -3

          Shouldn't be more than $2-3

It costs them more than $3 to send it.

          • +1

@spaceflight: please declare your affiliation with this company

            • -1

@ironworthy: How do I do that?

Wait, I'm not affiliated with them. Why would I declare an affiliation then?

If that's the best comeback you've got then it's a waste of time anyone explaining to you how something as simple as postage works.

    • -1

agreed, thats a total of $33 which is about $16+ per 64gb card for the evo+ which is the price of 1 64gb card alone with free shipping anyways.

  • San disk now showing $19.54

    • +2

code PEOFY drops it down to $15.64 which is a great price.

      • sorry my bad

  • It's been over 2 weeks it should have been delivered yesterday, when I check order status it says not sent.

Is this a genuine seller or shall I issue a chargeback and leave a negative remark…

Tried contacting seller but no response yet. Will wait for a day.

    • I warned everyone in my post above. They are crooks. Take ages to ship. Probably drop shipping from HK. They are linked to Zapals IIRC.
Lodge an ebay dispute. I did, asked for compensation and said if I had known I would have bought elsewhere. Got no compensation. Left them negative feedback. Terrible customer service.

      • Hi julz

95%+ of our order are dispatched within 1 working day from listed location of the related item.

If you can PM me, I might able to hlep

        cheers

    • Hi Sirajs

If you can PM, I might able to help

      cheers

      • I have sent you a PM pls reply back asap

        • Did you get a response? I have a few things in cart from them.

          • @yomn: Yes they send me confirmation email. They just sent the item. Maybe once you place order you need to notify them that you purchased. Hahaha

            • +1

@Sirajs: I'll pull the trigger and give them a few days to post. Good on you for raising the flags tho.

    • I am experiencing the same. Status : paid. Sent them a message and not even a reply.

Hope you had posted your experience earlier.

      • Mail them they will send

  • It's been over 2 weeks

On what planet? This deal was posted on the 3rd and today is the 7th; 13hrs later than when you posted not having em yet?

    • I think Sirajs just expressed his experience related to seller. I ordered mine from this deal a couple of days ago and asked if they were sent. No reply received.

      • Could be.
I've bought a few times over the years and never had issues. Got SD cards this deal which were ordered Fri night, posted Monday and arrived in Perth today.

Have you not yet got an email via Ebay that the item(s) have been posted?

        • The eBay status is ‘paid’. Normally I would see posted or sent status or email saying status updated if buyer marked it as sent. I think they will come eventually. Sometimes they will send from overseas if they finish their local stocks.

A response from to message on eBay at least to explain if there is delay is better than not responding to messages. Waiting game. I pm the rep and the rep seems to be sorting it out. This is a good sign.
