        I bought one a year ago. One of the USB ports is crooked. I don't mean the slot itself, but the orange part is crooked. Inserting a cable in is difficult.

        So not top marks for build quality.

    there are so many chargers here for sale. Which one is the best or at least charges faster than normal chargers?
    would this one charges andriod phones faster?

      It depends on the phone since there's a variety of different charging standards. This has Quickcharge 3 which is probably the most common, plus 5V 2.4A for older phones that don't support any "fancy" fast charging.

      "Quick Charge" seems to be the most common fast charge standard, but there is also "Power Delivery". As far as I know the two standards are not compatible. (My new Google Pixel is PD, so the QC stuff I have is not compatible.) If your phone and charger don't both support the same fast charge standard, they will probably still charge, but only at normal speeds.

      I have read the upcoming Quick Charge v4 standard supports both Quick Charge and Power Delivery devices, so I'm waiting for one of those. There is a car charger out already: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Baseus-Quick-Charge-4-0-3-0-…

      You could look at the BW-S10 (or BW-S11). It does PD as well as QC3.

      Apple's fastcharge uses the USB-PD standard, which is not this charger

      Apple devices will still charge at 12W using this (same effect as using an iPad charger), vs the 5W of the normal wall charger

        The annoying thing about that one is, the 2.4A port does not support QC. So QC 3.0 is available only through the C port.

            @Gavman: You'd think they could have put it into the A port so you can use the cable that came with your QC3.0 phone and you can charge another device with PD at the same time.

    been waiting for a sale on these. had one but forgot to take it from an airbnb last trip to japan.

    they work well, and it's good to be able to fast charge your phone and still charge something else at a decent speed too.

    $12 delivered is a good price.

    They usually sell for $59 when they're not 80% off, if you can believe that.

    They claim it's 30W total (18W + 12W), but if you look on the bottom of the unit, it says 24W.

        Many QC 3.0 devices used micro USB.

        You can only use whatever cable tip your device used.

      Apparently not. They tweaked their AFC spec for S9 and S10 making it incompatible with QC 3.0 is what I heard.

    There's a useful review here. Reasonable quality overall but a couple of questionable design aspects, high output voltage ripple, not Qualcomm QC certified and no Australian safety approval.

    WOW WOW WOW bought a white one for $13.24 (no insurance) on Tuesday evening and it arrived today, Thursday.
    Geeeez, that was FAST, with signature by Australia Post.
    I bought one of these chargers early last year (waited weeks for it to arrive)
    and it has worked perfectly with Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and 9, fast charge (QC3) confirmed.
    TOTALLY RECOMMENDED

          they are typically pretty good. ive ordered a few things from them, this is the first time it hasnt come extremely quick, they are usually much faster than gearbest etc.

    I can't agree.
    After the great experience last week (see above 06/06/2019) I decided to get another.
    Sunday went back to the site and bought another for $0.15 cheaper.
    Monday was a public holiday.
    Tuesday I get a message from Australia Post saying my item is on its way.
    Today is Wednesday and the item arrives by Australia Post.
    WOW, it could not have arrived quicker and I got a PayPal receipt (type of guarantee).

    Maybe you are doing something different, I did select the Australian site.
