Damn, and extra $10 off for me when buying 2 cases (logged on to my account).

    <$50 for 2 cases.

    • How did you get this extra discount?

      • +1

Not sure. I had an automatic promotion apply for the $10 discount when I had 2 cases added to my cart.

They give away a bottle of this when placing orders online through BWS, not a nice beer at all.

But it's not unpleasant. A little bland and unremarkable maybe, but there's not really anything 'off' about it.

    • how did you get the freebie. i added one to the cart, but it was full price

The tassy water must be shit… Literally

    • James Boags use to bang on about the Tassy water then something really changed in their beers, I think they moved to CUB or something.

      • +1

Same production line as VB ;)

Tassie water is some of the purest in the world, certainly isn’t shit.
      This particular beer may be.

      • +3

Boags was my go to, then it moved from Tas. I agree.

        • What’s your thoughts on Coopers?

          • +1

@TheEnvelope: Not a huge fan these days. Went to school around the corner from the old factory, not sure if nostalgia but I'm sure it tasted better. Can drink the lager, sparkling and a few summer ales but I keep away from pale ale.

  • Great beer but no stock in QLD

Just picked up a case from Alexandria, short dated. Best before Jul 1. 2019

  • +1

Thanks OP, picked up a couple of cartons in NSW.

  • +3

They are also only $8 a six-pack (in SA) which is great value if you don't want to risk a carton you may not like.

    Thanks OP.
I bought a case of this a month ago at $50+ and didn’t mind it. Easy drinking, very happy to see it at this price! Thanks

  • +1

Wow. For a change I actually got to finish my purchase! Normally I'm in the checkout and get told stock not available. Thanks OP.

  • It sucks they drop alcohol content in beer down from 5% in Australia.

  • Is the beer short dated?

  • Keep an eye on the expiry date. Just got my case of 24 with an expiry of 01/07/2019.

    • +3

      Awesome, long dated.

      • +2

        Yup, @1/day - no problem :)

  • 4.2%. Not bad.

  • +1

Me to… Just picked up 2 cases with expiry 01/07/2019 and the other 26/07/19… As they say best before good after :)

  • Can you request a refund/cancel order if I turn up and they are to expire? I'm stockpiling for an event in August, and though I know they won't be "off", I don't want to be seen as stingey haha

  • Expiry 20 July here

  • +1

    One of my favourite beers.

    So good when icy cold.

  • Expiry 20 June here. I better get cracking.

    • I got 1st of July.
