Mine came 6 mins after the PayPal receipt email.
That would be nice to know when actually ordering, i got my receipt almost 4 hours ago and still haven't got the gift card code yet. Maybe pay pal is inundated with orders (given there has been nearly 1300 clicks on this deal).
I guess i'm one of the unlucky ones :(
Edit: Looks like i was too quick, got it exactly 4 hours after the receipt.
Just realised though, $50 - 10% = $45 but it only cost $40, so its really 20% off the gift card (or $10 off your end purchase).

Does this mean Kogan’s item pricing will suddenly go up by 10% or did they learn from the current ACCC investigation?
You assume everyone in Australia got these? No, so I doubt they’ll move their pricing up just to catch you (us).
Also, I’ve read the ACCC case, so many flaws, basically saying a retailer can’t move prices of goods up or down, coz if they do move it up but come with some a site wide code it looks like jacking.
Think woolies and coles making Smith’s half price this week, and next week having a 10% off site wide code, but smiths goes back to RRP. That’s price jacking according to ACCC, but Chios always goes half price one week and down the next.
Poor ACCC, another fail lawsuit coming their way

You add them to your Kogan account one at a time and it adds to the account balance.
The balance is then used at checkout to pay for items.

Not in the case of one item I've been watching, in fact there is a 7% discount on it compared to normal.
After the ACCC suing them for price jacking you'd hope they start behaving to be compliant with the law. The penalties are a joke of course so not much reason to stop defrauding people.

PayPal Digital Gifts is the distributor of Kogan gift cards - best to check directly with Kogan.
However, T&C's on both Dick Smith and Kogan gift card sites indicate no.

Thanks, I did try put in a used gift card - I assume it would say it had been redeemed if they did accept it. Instead it didn’t recognise it so looks like is only valid at Kogan
