    Surely anyone thats invested in taking pictures and videos with a tripod would be using an actual camera to do so….

      A few of the Warcom boys here in the office go motorbike riding on the weekends and we tend to mount our iPhones to trees, fences and various other stable objects to film our adventures and crashes…

      Much easier to just use our iPhones, then lugging around a proper camera or something like a Flip, etc!

      We're certainly not claiming the iPhone is an awesome video camera - but it works for what we use.

      And the glif makes it easier to hold it.

    Not a bargain. Buy two or more directly from http://www.theglif.com and get them shipped for nix. Total credit card charge was AUD38.83 (incl crappy forex rate and bank fees) for TWO pieces. AUD21.00ea delivered doesn't rate as a bargain to me.

      You don't need to wait for them to be delivered from the US.

    $20 for THAT? Nahhh… I think I'll wait for a week until the copies appear on DX etc.

    Not a bad idea, but the price is so outrageously over the top for what it is (and would cost to produce) that I'd have a hard time bringing myself to make a purchase.

    Not negging the deal, just commenting on the product.
