  • Is this a good replacement for xiaomi mi Max first gen? My mum is using it as it's huge screen but it's showing it's aging and it never gets updated. Max 2 and 3 are both still cost more than $380 at the moment.
    Anyone can comment on this one? It's a bit smaller than Max but it's much cheaper.

    Go for the Redmi Note series, plain Redmi is too plain

    • I bought this to replace my Redmi Note 4. They are basically the same. More recent Notes might have better performance though. Also I get this weird issue where it registers a touch randomly on the screen every now and then. Really annoying as it sometimes dials people by accident.

    • Is redmi note significantly bigger? Need a big screen phone to replace old Mi Max.
