Hi everyone,

I don't usually post deals here and hopefully I'm not posting one that has already been posted. Saw this pop up on MSY's facebook page recently, it's a wireless keyboard with touchpad designed for use with Smart TV and other devices! Works over bluetooth or over 2.4ghz wifi connection with the included dongle.

Should come in handy with all of the Smart TVs popping up here on EOFY specials. Usual price from MSY is $68. The price on the boxes at JB HiFi are showing $99 but they are on sale there for $79 (I can confirm that JB HiFi no longer price match MSY, I tried to do this and use a coupon to bring it down further but they won't allow it).

I bought one today and it works great on my LG OLED55B6T with the dongle. I've been using it to speed up my youtube and netflix searches. It works well with the built in webOS browser, and also works well with my nVidia Shield TV for chrome and all the other android apps.

The Logitech website lists the following TVs as fully supported:

    I suspect it supports more TVs but these are the only ones listed on the website. Since it supports android 5.0 and above it should support TV's running android TV. It runs on my nvidia shield tv but I don't have any other devices to test this on.

    More than likely most TVs with Bluetooth keyboard support will work.

    That would be great. JB HiFi are claiming that they won't price match MSY because they are claiming MSY won't honour warranty claims. I don't have any experience with MSY warranty so I can't comment on this.

    As toughgamer mentioned, you are linking to a different product. The same k600 model on pccasegear is $69 plus shipping if you're in a different state. MSY has physical stores in most if not all states, and as someone else has mentioned, officeworks will price match this deal in other states.

  Serious question… What would you use this for on your Android TV? I have a nVidia Shield but can't see myself needing a keyboard.

    The voice search is quite nifty with the shield, I'll give you that. Keyboard is nifty as the shield doesn't accurately comprehend most of the voices in my household. That and I have chrome on my shield, it's easier to use the browser, Netflix, YouTube and plex with keyboard and touchpad.

  When my PC was sick using LG Oled B7 TV with phone was a challenge so I got from MSY the Alcatroz Dock2 BT keyboard is has a rechargeable battery can connect 3 devices
  phone see's it fine alas not my LG Oled TV although my Firestick can see it (forgot to check supported TVs before I bought) I really like it but might get this Logitech K600
  for the better compatibility, even though my PC is working now…….I have one question …Does this Logitech K600 have any backlighting ?

    No backlighting on the k600 unfortunately.

    You would need the k830 if you are after backlighting, not sure about the compatibility of that model but it's available from umart for $100 plus shipping

      K830 is a great keyboard though. Had one for years and the battery lasts extremely long, rarely ever charged it

  Officeworks does price match with them. I just checked 10 minutes ago in-store but unfortunately, there is none in Sydney CBD area.

  It is easier for me to go grab one in MSY Ultimo. God knows how long it will take if you order it in store to collect.

  The backlight is not a big deal, well, at least with my Q7FN. I just want to be able to search faster, not write a goddamn book hahaha

  AAA batteries are not a big deal if you have an AA/AAA charger. Built-in batteries have the problem of losing charge with their age and there is nothing you can do. AA/AAA batteries, just install recharged ones and voila.

    Logitech rate the k600 as 1 year battery life with 2x AAA batteries with standard use but they don't really define their standard use. Still, I've got a k400 as well and the batteries in that lasted nearly two years.
