These are the best 'portable' speakers I have used, and at 5% power neighbours are calling me to turn it down. If you have been looking for a good speaker to stunt or for parties this is it.

Yep. My recent Extreme2 purchase got moved from kitchen counter top to lounge, was wayyyyy too big.
And it's heavy, no wonder it comes with a shoulder strap. This boombox portable even more so.
The charge 3 I had there on counter previously was a good size….and is what we take camping or elsewhere.
its better to get it from hn or goodguys. mine stopped working and no questions asked, swapped with brand new.
Regardless , this could easily be returned to any bing lee store under warranty if needed.
I recently picked up a galaxy tab a 10.1 which i scored for $269 off there ebay store - optioned to pick up from crossroads store . No problem
Unfortunately Bing Lee doesn't have stores Australia-wide. I don't think we have a single one in WA, for example.
Same for VIC, no stores, only a holding warehouse.
Just a quick fyi my brandnew boombox from Harvey Norman has a low buzzing sounds audible during low battery life and very low volume. Pretty sure this is an issue so I plan to return it soon :) and get a brand new one. Did research heard this is a common problem but fixed through luck of draw, I'm not sure how easy it is to return to Bing Lee if this occurs.
