PONG20

With 20% of Bing Lee you can get the JBL Boombox for $328 saving $72 ($400 Harvey Norman). Pretty sure this is the lowest price it has ever been, bought two thanks OP.

These are the best 'portable' speakers I have used, and at 5% power neighbours are calling me to turn it down. If you have been looking for a good speaker to stunt or for parties this is it.

  • Just a quick fyi my brandnew boombox from Harvey Norman has a low buzzing sounds audible during low battery life and very low volume. Pretty sure this is an issue so I plan to return it soon :) and get a brand new one. Did research heard this is a common problem but fixed through luck of draw, I'm not sure how easy it is to return to Bing Lee if this occurs.

Set aside a decent whack of counters space, this baby big like a bassinet.

Yep. My recent Extreme2 purchase got moved from kitchen counter top to lounge, was wayyyyy too big.
And it's heavy, no wonder it comes with a shoulder strap. This boombox portable even more so.
The charge 3 I had there on counter previously was a good size….and is what we take camping or elsewhere.

its better to get it from hn or goodguys. mine stopped working and no questions asked, swapped with brand new.

  • Regardless , this could easily be returned to any bing lee store under warranty if needed.

Unfortunately Bing Lee doesn't have stores Australia-wide. I don't think we have a single one in WA, for example.

Same for VIC, no stores, only a holding warehouse.
