Looks like this one has a lithium ion battery. The older ones had NiMH / Nicd and barely lasted a year or two.
Nicd is bad but NiMH has been flawless on its 3rd year for my family 8 uses a day. The trick is use 2 handles and rotate using them charge only when one is low battery and don't always leave it on the charging dock.
For $75.88 with free delivery you can get the Pro 2 2000, which appears to be the same but without the bluetooth gimmick:

It still has the lithium ion battery which is the most important feature, and the only real advancement in the Oral B toothbrushes in the last decade.
Perhaps even a better deal, especially since that one does come with a travel case.
