    Not happy….paid $161.XX AUD + delivery for this a few days ago….

    • +30

If it's any consolation, the rest of us won't have to pay the ~$18 or so and will probably enjoy spending it on another item.

An item that you will no longer be able to afford.

Hope that makes you feel better.

      • +5

        Chillbro, that’s cold bro.

      • That's not consolation mate, that's confirmation..

    • You might be able to ask for price difference credit.

    • I paid $85 for a 1 TB

      • return and ask for refund

  • I didn’t realise amazon US still delivered to Australia?

    • +2

They had stopped, but I think they have restarted services after they became gst compliant.

  • Mine ended up being $159.37 with the amazon conversion rate.

    • +3

You always need to pay by usd and let your card company convert to aud for you.

      • What about conversion charge

        • +4

Get a card that doesn't charge conversion fees. Bankwest, 28 degrees or Citibank debit.

          • +1

@Mechz: Coles Rewards Mastercard also an option.

          • @Mechz: We have a home loan with ING, our everyday card has all international transaction and ATM fees reimbursed.

  • How do we know if it's got a 2.5"
or 3.5" drive inside such a drive?

A recent drive was said to be 2.5"

    • +1

They're 2.5 but slightly thicker then regular 2.5's. they fit in most desktop 2.5bays. they won't fit in a laptop.

      • +1

        Yeah, they're 15mm thick.

    • +1

Any drive listed as portable is a 2.5. 3.5 requires seperate power.

  • +1

Ordered one, also the final price is $159.

  • 159AUD at Amazon AU. And you get 12% cash back from ShopBack. I just ordered on Amazon AU.

    • +4

That is incorrect. Shopback cashback is likely only around 4.5% on electronics or less.

      • Oh really don’t know this. Thank you for the information.

        • Did not know Shopback has cashback on Amazon US.

  • For anyone that has hooked this up to a ps4 how's the performance of this - lag issues or longer loading times?

    • +1

Just like every other non ssd external. Perfectly fine.

    • It's too thick without modification for a PS4. Max I believe is 9.5mm and this is 15mm(?) I think.

      • He means using it as external, not internal

        • Oh duh thanks.

  • +2

Showing for me as $90.50USD + $7.11USD Shipping & Import Fees Deposit to Australia

  • This good to connect to HTPC?

  • I'm getting $149.23 plus $17.55 for delivery plus 16.69 taxes = $183.47???

    What am I doing?

    • It’s available again, deal is back on.

      • -1

I was choosing the black before, maybe had something to do with price I was getting. Still getting $160.49 plus tax $16.06. $176.55

        • The red, blue and black all are 100 usd now.

  • +1

This price does not include USD $10.74 GST.

The total price is USD 118.11.

    So I guess expired?

    • yea looks like it, camelx3 had it on 99USD between June 7 to June 11. We have missed it.

      • Yeah it was ~US$90, + ~US$8 shipping, + ~US$10 GST.

  • Deal is back on.

But be warned delivery is not until August

    • +1

Not the same price though, ~US$118 (~AU$172) delivered now.

I just bought the black model for ~AU$154 delivered from Amazon.AU after 4.5% (-AU$8) Shopback and with free prime expedited delivery.
