    My local Coles Express is currently at least 10 cents more expensive than every other petrol station in the area.

      I've seen this with some Coles Express locations but it can vary. It's cheaper for where I'm at; more so when stacking with the Cats and supermarket vouchers.

      If you don't use a comparative website/App, you're asking to be spanked on price.

      While I've never, ever, found Coles Express to be anywhere near competitive in Canberra, it isn't always so bad in more competitive markets.

      I always check prices if I need to get more than half a tank of fuel. As any OzBargainer worth the appellation knows - you have to compare to save (or, at least, not get ripped off).

      Well then stack it with a 4c/L docket to make it the same price. Then find some other discount/s to stack it with and come out ahead. You can thank me later.

          This is true..it isn't

          Coles = 4c + 6 to 10 c (this promo) + 5c (every time Geelong wins) 10c more if you have something you need to buy in store that is worth it (Perhaps buy the milk for work. LPG for the bbq etc).

          So Coles discount is at least 10c, but regularly 15c (thanks Geelong), and 29c at the top. Would be great if they start accepting e-gift cards.

          Woolies = 4c + 4c (in store purchase, again a couple of milks) + egift card (around 6c) = 10c to 14c off.

      The only real benefit with going to Coles Express over any other station is the V-Power 98 RON. It is on average $0.12 more expensive elsewhere. With the potential $0.1 saving, it might make it worth it? Then again, I don't believe V-Power does anything more than Caltex Vortex Premium, or BP Ultimate (especially Vortex Premium since i paid $0.14/L cheaper than any other local station)

    Mine was 8c/16 points per litre. I hardly ever go to shell / coles because it has been really expensive relative to other petrol companies.

    Mine is SAVE up to 22c per litre by combining discounts

    Choose 16 POINTS or 8 cents off per litre when you fill up at Shell Coles Express!

    First:
    Click ‘choose discount’ to activate the 8 cents off per litre offer and swipe your flybuys card at the checkout when you make a qualifying purchase

    Second:
    Scan the ‘4 cents off per litre’ docket from your Coles Supermarket receipt at the checkout in the same transaction.~

    Third:
    Spend $20 on in-store items at Coles Express in the same transaction to receive another 10 cents per litre off!

    Mine was 10c…

    Bit sick of people posting these to OzB. Even with the discount it's not cheaper than the 7/11 or Puma nearby.

    The targeting isn't very difficult to understand either… just don't fill up for a month at a coles servo and they send them weekly. Once redeemed you don't get one for another month or two.
