    Um… why would you pick the $40 plan when the $50 plan discounted to $40 is also apart of the promotion…

    My link shows $40 per month (12 months) for 80GB data, Unlimited Calls/SMS + Zone 1 Roaming 4GB. Also thrown in is 12,000 Flybuys points (worth $60) and a google home mini.

      Is that targeted? I checked my FlyBuys offers and I don't see it. Just checked my email and I have the offer for 10k points and no mention of a bonus Google Home, but my offer does have the first two months free access fees.

      I've been looking for a reason to switch away from Telstra and I think I just found it.

    80gb $40 / m plan comes with 12k points and also Google Home. Best deal so far I think! I signed up when there was no bonus Google home unfortunately.

      I was on Optus chat with one of their support staff an hour ago and he told me that they'll be sending out SMS with a link for redeeming the points and receiving the Google Home to all eligible accounts. According to him, it will be sent out over next week or so, at the latest. I'm a bit sceptical about it, but let's wait and see what happens…

    The deals for the plans advertised via flybuys mention "new services only". I have one number with Optus with another two months to go, anyone who know what I can do to take up the deal? When I chat with Optus, they said they will charge me $22.50 Early Termination Fee, and they cannot offer the BONUS POINTS and a bonus Google Home.

    Also, can you just sign up to the $50 plan when they do the 20% off Promo's? You're technically moving to a plan with a higher access fee.

    I have a virgin service that I want to use this option for. I have 7 months left and if I pay one month, then they will waive the six month fees. Has anyone tried to use flybuys offer and transfer virgin to Optus?

    There was the plan 80GB for $40 + 4GB International roaming + 12,000 flybuys points + Google Home, it has disappeared when clicking the link on the email today.
    It was saying expiring on 23 June and it's no where to been seen today :(

      No confirmation and Optus Perks support can't confirm when contacted. They only say if you use the link from your email to sign up then you are eligible. Pointless.
