    Not exactly.
    You dont get the full forsaken expansion in the free version. You only get to visit one of the added patrol areas and then do basically nothing there. Essentially meaning you dont really get the playable content of forsaken only the gear added to the loot pool of the rest of the game. Actually you get one playable part, Gambit which is either great or complete ass depending on tastes.
