  I thought GoPros were factory sealed to be waterproof.

    YES. So long as all camera doors are closed, these cameras are waterproof down to 10m (33ft) without a housing. HERO7 and HERO6 Black users with the need to dive deeper can utilize the Super Suit housing, enabling the use of your camera as deep as 60m.

    Yep， 10 meters in writing, so probably 15m in practice. That's pretty (profanity) deep unless you are going full scuba.
