  • why delivery a month away ? where are they coming from ?

    • I bought this one yesterday, they are awaiting for stock to be arive. They said it's definitely Aus stock, I hope so.
Yup a month is waiting from Sydney to Melbourne.

    • Got one a few weeks ago. Said the same thing. Arrived in a week.

  • Anyone who has a 32", is the screen size too big for home office?
Use 2x 24" qhd monitors at work, and looking to get the same for home, but concerns 32" may be too big for working (given distance to the screens)

    • +2

I have a 32" 1440p monitor at home and I sit at a nornal PC desk. I think it's great, don't have any issues with it. I think at 1080p it might be a bit too big though, but 1440p has smaller text and all that. I'm glad I went with a 32" over a 27".

      • Awesome, thanks for the reassurance jayz! Yeah love the small text at work!

        • I have a 32" 1440p monitor at home and I sit at a normal PC desk. I have issues tracking corners of the screen, finding my eyes keep rolling around very tiring, too big to my liking.

Only good for movies and games.

          I should've gone for 27" 1440p , would've been perfect.

    • Friend, same dpi as a 24 inch 1080p monitor, so scaling and whatnots no issue. actul size though I just move it back a bit lol. Prefer the size over my 24 inch monitor.

    • Yep - same here. 32" QHD AOC display and sit pretty close! No issues whatsoever and sit in front of it 4+ hours a day!

    • Thanks for all your thoughts guys, after the mixed responses, and after measuring the physical sice it would be on the desk, decided against the 32", gonna keep an eye out for 24 or 27.

      Thanks again for your insights

  • Is it ok to do basic gaming on this (gta5)? Or should I really get a monitor with gsync/freesync?

    • For basic gaming this is more than fine. For serious competitive gaming, probably not.

  • any experience with this viewsonic screen for gaming? FPS, high motion, etc .. keen to hear thoughts. Reviews dont rate it highly, but guess ti depends on type of game…
Browsing for a 30+ inch screen good for gaming as well as work use .. Found https://www.mwave.com.au/product/aoc-q3279vwfd8-315-qhd-75hz…
only $299 .. seems a pretty good deal, and seems v good for gaming?
no VESA mounts though, which is unfortunate ..

    • Hmm yes that monitor is going for about $255, if you have ebay plus, here

      • nice find - so that'd almost make the AOC screen better value, i'd think. Oddly seems the Mwave vs ebay link suggest 1/2 " difference in size
ebay : AOC Q3279VWFD8 32" LED LCD Gaming Computer Monitor QHD FreeSync HDMI DVI VGA IPS
Mwave : AOC Q3279VWFD8 31.5" QHD 75Hz AMD FreeSync Gaming Monitor

Anyway, i digress from the OP's bargain .. sorry to hijack :)
