Xiaomi is my favourite tech company now. Decent or higher quality with features people want at an affordable price.

Snapdragon 8555 processor? Must year 3000 right now

  • I'm looking for a new phone and this one has it all - except the battery is definitely on the small side - only 3300mAh. Can someone who owns this phone comment on the battery life in use?

    • -1

Yeah on paper it looks the goods, I'd need to take a closer look at the cameras but that battery is a killer for me. I'm sick of having phones that can't make it through the day after you've owned it a little while. 4000 is only slightly bulkier and makes a world of difference.

64gb is the other bizarre cost cut. Needs to be 128gb these days especially on a triple camera phone.

    • From the reviews it seems like it enuf for one day given that it's got new processesot which should be more efficient

    • The system is optimal so it makes the 3300 look a lot larger. i can get through a day and still have 30%. previously had an iphone 7 and that would barely get through the day.

  • Is this shipped from China?
Need a phone asap but too many options…

  • No Micro SD card slot on this one? I wont survive beyond 3 months with just 64GB.

    • I am thinking the same thing..not sure if using extensive google photos backup would help keep under the limit.

    • Yep that's a deal breaker for mine. Must have SD slot.

I use Tidal for streaming, downloading songs takes up a heap of space.

      • Okie makes sense.

if your main thing is battery go for the k20 pro but know that it has a bit inferior camera, and inferior EIS video
everything else is same to mi9

    • Interesting! I might have a look into that one. Xiaomi has too many phone varieties, it's so hard to keep track (and pick!)
