  • Bit the bullet and just grabbed a blue mi 9! My mi 6 has come to the end of its life šŸ˜Ž

    • I still have the mi 6 how is it compared to your old phone?

  • Not quite getting the 565, 574 is my magic number

Currency conversion fee free card set to do its own currency conversion in PayPal will get you the current exchange rate. Letting PayPal do the conversion will give you their horrible rate.

      • I get $578.82 - haven't even selected payment method.

        I will look elsewhere.

        • The price is in US. The website rate like other stores would be out of date and it seems to be $20 AU out for you.

Every OzBargainer should already know how to shop smart in other currencies. E.g. currency conversion free cards.

          • @Clear: What you are really saying is that we should ignore the ~$565 AU price as that is the variable price which will be out of date by the time you have posted and instead we all must do our shopping in US$ with a currency conversion free card.

Why not simply say the price in AU$ has gone up?

            • +1

@GRP: I'm required by OzBargain to have the equivalent price in AU or an approximation (hence the ~) at the time of posting and I cover this by saying the below in the post (which also came from a moderator).

AU$ based on current Mastercard rate.

Since the conversion rate changes daily I'd have to update the price in all my deals daily and that's not realistic.

      • Thanks @clear, I've just ordered one. Keep up the deals mate!

  • What's the delivery time like on these?

    • Apparently 5-8 days there website says once posted. However, there processing time takes a while, up to 7 days apparently. I ordered on the 14th and they take the money straight away but my order is still sitting as processing. Hopefully gets sent tomorrow and get it in a week.

      • Any update?

        • +1

FYI my order is being delivered tomorrow! Pretty decent IMO, ordered on the 14th and delivered on the 26th from Hong Kong. Took them 6 days to actually post the order after placement but only 6 days from Hong Kong to Perth which is quite good. Can't wait to get home from work tomorrow!!

        • ordered one this morning, got shipped and tracking # 3 hours later.
          Will post when delivered (WA)

          • @zoner: delivery planned tomorrow….so one week exact
