Amazon AU 7% Cashback on All Categories @ Cashrewards

1550

I was browsing some Micro SD cards and noticed the cashback rate was showing as 7% across all categories in my Cashrewards notifier window.

(This is up from the split rates, I think it was 3.5% for electronics category)

And I was only browsing because I have to buy replacement cards since an online seller sold me fake sd cards… Sigh…

  • Did you find any cheap SD cards?

  • Good boys any Amazon deals appreciated :)

  • Awesome.

Sweet, I've been holding out on buying a Crucial MX500 500GB, works out cheaper than the 20% off at Ebay with the cash back (got the $99 from Amazon AU instead of waiting for the $96.75 from Amazon US to arrive).

Just went onto cash back app for shopback and it's showing 8% on Amazon and there doesn't seem to be a place with the different rates.
Could they have upped there's too?

    • Cashrewards and Shopback probably matched.

They are on the ball , if CB was they would immediately match or better . But don't hold your breath :)

    I spent $1500 last week with 3.5% :/

Thank you. Just cancelled all my preorders and rebought.

    • Just in case you weren't aware - cash back is only valid on preorders that ship within 60 days of ordering.

      • I did not know that. Bugger

  • Thanks, my cashback from yesterday's purchase got increased to 7% too!

  • They just got pipped by the competition.

Probably because CR were higher first 😉

      • But is there another company on OzB that is promoted, and rewarded for posting worse prices than their cheaper direct competitor?

        • +1

That makes no sense whatsoever. This deal was posted first, long before SB had increased their rate.

I should go to last week's Coles deal and criticise them for having different prices to Woolworths this week.

          • @Clear: Going to assume your not associated, so why would you take it personally? Companies like eBay wouldn't get a pass. Realize this is a bargain site. Also, one could easily argue that they both DECREASED their rates on some items from 12%. Only a shill or a fool can not see that. Does that clear things up for you? Anyway, feel free to pay extra.

@Charity: Nothing personal here as I'm not the negger. It's really simple. You don't neg a deal because a sale that happened AFTER is cheaper.

  • For what it's worth - I found Sandisk Extreme Pro 128gb for $54.55 (which seems to be a great price for one which is fulfilled by Amazon AU)

    …but there is a long wait (1-2mths).

  • too bad cr is down
