This version has been out for a little while. New version is suspected sometime this year based off release date trends of the previous model. This is still an awesome unit 👍
DSE eBay has the one with the controller for $312.48 -> ~$282 Which seems quite reasonable
Noob question. Does this have more features than the mibox or voda tv? Or jyst more powerful

No probs. I alrwady have a Voda and mibox and was wondering if this one was a worthwhile buy. Not for what I use it for.
Also this has gig network, where vodafone is 10/100, but that isnt really a big here or there for most movie streaming
The shield box is best out there for many yrs now. All the other tv streaming boxes vary in quality from buggy to just not enough grunt to do what you want..
I have used alot of them from cheap chinese (avoid them) to brand names..
the roku ones (some rebranded) are good just not as good as a shield box..
