    • +8

yeah.. one for you and one for me.

    • Yep

    • No its dual handle for one tooth brush

    • dual hand, one for top row, and one for bottom row.

  • But only comes with 1 charger..

Looks like you can get generic ones for $15 or so

  • It requires ebay plus to use the code :((

Got a $0.99 electric toothbrush earlier today, so I think I'll skip this deal thanks.

    • +1

yea i'm sure the .99c toothbrush is as powerful as this one

      • +11

It's not how big it is, it's what you do with it.

        • hope you are not planning to put it in the wrong hole

    • do you know how much that 0.99c toothbrush was worth original price on ebay?
I can't find it on the oral b site.

      • It was one of the items in the eBay 99cent sale yesterday, apologies for any confusion.

        • yes i know
but it had a regular price before the discount
just trying to recall how much it cost

          • @pinkybrain: The item price is $21.95 but I think it goes on sale regularly for $19.95.

            • @Charlie Dont Surf: thanks..

yeah that price looks like the cheapest model oral b sold at many local supermarket
still a good deal for 99c..

    • you cant compare a $19 toothbrush to a $189 toothbrush, even if you only paid $0.99 for it
This is the one for $0.99 https://www.amazon.com.au/Oral-B-Vitality-Precision-Recharge… which are the cheap ones they sell at Coles, its same power as the COloured "kids" brushes which is why they arent as powerful as this one

      • Can I charge the genius 9000 on the cheap one's charger?

        • I think most are using the same new style charger by the look. I had the old style charger with my previous

  • Anyone has converted recently from the much more economical manual toothbrush to electric toothbrush? Would you recommend?

    • Not recent, but been using an electric toothbrush for the last 1 year. Highly recommend. Started with the brush head similar to a regular toothbrush on a different brand. My dentist then suggested using this circular one, and yes this one is better. May be if you are not confident spending big money, try with an entry level range and then decide. For the above price, given you get two handles, hard to pass on though :)
P.S. both manual and electric are good in their own ways, and personally I don't think one is superior to the other. Comes down to how you brush imo.

    • use manual one in the morning for gentle cleaning, and use electric one in the evening for deep cleaning.

      • +4

The point of brushing is to remove plaque and after 8 hours of sleep you have a lot built up on your teeth.

      • Just use a gentle head then and low speed mode. if that is your ideal way of brushing

Hi there this is without a doubt the single best toothbrush and mouth cleaning experience I have ever had, Steer clear or Oral B and there shit warranties, its next to impossible to find a charger to work with an older model also. With the Phillips Sonicare Diamond Clean Black Electric Toothbrush You can charge several ways, through USB in a case, in a glass with excellent wireless Charging, you just place to the toothbrush in the glass without water and it charges, even with the toothbrushes in the glass cup/jar also…

YOu can even keep the brushes and the toothbrush handle etc in the charge case when you prefer to charge this way. It is miles a head of any Oral B 9000 Triumph or newer, I have both and this Sonicare is Far far better! If you have really sensitive teeth this will be more gentle and clean with a deepclean like a dentist would do for you. You wont regret it and its only $280 at the shavershop, I paid a lot more for mine, FYI the work a little different, oral B rotate in 360 or 180 and the Sonicare pulsates which i prefer also.

      • you are aware that the oral B has a charging case as well

      • Not sure why you would waste space by having a glass just to hold a toothbrush and let it build up baterica, just use a normal stand and let the water drain off correctly

        • Nah lol I leave it in the case and use the glass charger cup when I want to charge it lol. I ain't thst silly mate.

There are a few options: I bought a ultrasonic vibrating one and it drove me nuts. Circular ones seem more user friendly. Look for youtubes about what to do with your plaque. Perhaps the best dental cleaning help is a powerful waterpik. I got a pulsating one from ebay at the right price. I know people who had been using waterpiks for 20 years and they all have perfect teeth.

    • the oral b with circular, easer, gets to all places no issues.

Make sure you dont use the cheap brushes and get the cross or floss heads tho

  • +1

Also if anyone interested oral b has a money back guarantee - 180 day from purchase. You got to pay for shipping to send it back to them

  • It only comes with one travel case?

  • I wanted a deal on the single handle set. Already got one, needed a second for my wife.

  • Thanks OP - just got it :)

I was on the fence with whether to buy this one. I like the idea of a Bluetooth toothbrush, but even at this discount it's still pricey.

I found this review helpful for an overview of the features: https://youtu.be/Qm5aXhnXtwo. Hopefully others in my position find this useful too.

    • I had the older top of line oral b model the one with the LCD screen. that had lasted about 8ish years, and only recently had to get a new one and got this one and its way faster in the head spinning, and lights up when you press too hard to help

I love the girls at the shaver shop. However I do not have glasses strong enough to see a real bargain in this deal.

    • Guess you can find dual oral B 9000 brushes cheaper somewhere else?

  • Thanks OP. Been waiting a long time for a good bargain to buy 2 Oral B handles.

  • The only issue i have with it, is they only give you 1 black brush head to go with the black handle

  • Honest question - what's with the dual handles?

    • Comes with two handles as a set.

      • But why do you need two handles?

        • +1

You just live alone. Don’t you?

          • @Unacceptable: Right, so it's just a set of 2. Fking lol, and I thought this was some sort of new tech.

  • Thank you op. Bought one.
I already have a Colgate electric brush from the last Amazon deal but I prefer the OralB round head brush.
This is a bit pricey (as it is the top of the range), but not sure how much it will be superior compare to the the basic one regularly discounted 50% off from weekly Coles promo.

    • the head spins alot faster then the cheaper one. This has 6 modes, tho not many people might use them

    • if you have a missus or someone you can pass one of as a present probably better to get the dual
