  • Clearly you never had kids!

Have more than you ever will.

      • What is this comeback even trying to achieve?!

        • -1

Raised kids without the need for these carriers.

          • @RSmith: Good for you? No one really cares. You don't need to shit on other people because they didn't hold their kids the way you did.

            • -2

@pancaeks: Calm down dude. Where did I shit on other people?

              No one really cares.

Obviously you do. That's why you bothered to reply.

  • Anyone use them in QLD? Looking for something like this, but don’t want the poor little guy to cook!

    • +1

I live in Sydney and I have a mesh version - the mesh version works well in summer. But at this price it’s hard to complain.

    • +1

Yea we have used it in Qld not outdoors in summer…. most kids get very sweaty regardless

  • Soar is the name of the pattern (birds). The model is Free to Grow

  • How is it compared to ergobaby?

    • +2

We’ve bought the ergo baby, Manduca, and Tula. Tula is fair more comfortable and supportive. Babies seem to fit more snug in the carrier. I found it better for my back

You can check out your local baby wearing meet to test it out https://www.carrymybaby.com.au/babywearing-slingmeets-around… (we just bought a carrier for our toddler from that site to replace the ergo)

Sling meets are good to check if you're wearing your carrier correctly and they can show you how to carry baby on your back. They also have a range of carriers that you can try on too.

  • I love my Tula - my boy is only 12 weeks and 7kg but I’ve literally worn this for 3 hours straight. Very comfortable. Tempted to buy a second so I don’t need to adjust straps when my husband carries our kid…

  • DJs have a further 50% off these prices. We purchased 2 of the Free to Grow carriers for $65 each at Sydney CBD Elizabeth st store. Two of the soar design left this evening.

    • Any chance someone can buy one for $65 and ship to me? Couldn't find one in store near me. Will pay for your effort and shipping

      • +2

You can call the store up and they’ll post it to you for $9.95. An OzBargainer wouldn’t be able to get the shipping as cheap

        • Awesome thanks I'll ring them tomorrow.

      • I got a stock check for the Soar. Only stock was Elizabeth st Sydney and Melbourne (CBD I think)

        • Bondi Junction had around 6 of the Tula Standard model, I think they were also $65.

    • That’s insane!

  • Thanks OP - I was able to get one posted for $65 ☺️ which will be perfect for bub arriving in August!

    • I got the last Soar free to grow at Elizabeth St Sydney

      • I rang them yesterday morning and was told it was out of stock!!

        • I guess they called before you did

          • +1

@kerfuffle: They said that too then another staff member was in the background and found it - apparently the last one had been put back somewhere else sorry!

            • @Leelee: All good. I got the standard instead.

  • Perth still had 2 Tula 'free to grow' soar and 2 Tula standard left.

Also has a pile of moby wrap and moby fit for half price ($27.5 & $34.5 respectively). Anyone have any comments on these?
