Friends and Family Plan - iPhone XR 64GB for $69 Per Month, 30GB Monthly Data (Lease Plan) @ Telstra

38

Decent plan in the market at the moment. I don’t use more than 20/25 gb a month anyway and would like to refresh my phone every 2 years or so. As long as you take care of your phone, leasing phones is a good option. A quick tip for insurance, add portable items including iPhones to your home and content insurance, it works out to be an affordable option.

Cheers

    $69/m on a lease…
Maybe at $45/m this would be okay.

    too expensive for leasing

  • +4

    Lease at $69…

Plus, leasing is never a good option..

It's only something like a couple hundred dollars more over two years to own the phone, doesn't make sense to lease ever. Plus if you break it you're SOL, have to pay to get it repaired even if you're fine to keep using it.

    iPhone XR 64GB - $69 Plan + $20 Device less $20 credit for 24 mths

    iPhone XR 128GB - $69 Plan + $16 Device

    iPhone XR 256GB - $69 Plan + $26 Device

Why is the 64GB considered to be a more expensive device than the 128GB?

Did they price it like that just so that they can advertise a bigger saving/credit for the first 24 months?

    Lease ????????????

So after you fork out all that money for 2 years. They take the phone off you !!!

    • +2

And not only that, if you return the phone in anything less that original, mint, as new condition, they will charge you a fee for returning the phone damaged/marked.

  • also still on this plan when it came with iphone 5

  • Lease XR: 69*24 = $1656

    Kogan Outright XR: $1169
    Kogan 20gb/month prepaid plan for 2 yrs: 254.30*2 = $508.60
    Total: 1169+508.60 = $1677

Pay an extra $21 to OWN the phone after 2 years and have a resell value of at least $500 if u want to upgrade… lmao

If ur tight on money just don't buy an iPhone… no need to lease
