I have my laptop permanently connected to my tv so i just download or stream everything i watch. This could come in handy cheers op.

  • I went through the pc server setup website and one of the terms was to agree to sharing my pc's resources with others. Don't know if that was in regards to my phone or other users. Didn't understand everything but I uninstalled anyway. Maybe someone else has the energy to investigate.

    • Server, you may choose to be a peer on the Luminati network. By doing so you agree to have read and accepted the terms of service of the Luminati SDK SLA (http://luminati.io/legal/sdk-sla). You may opt out of the network from settings.

      • Holy shit, the luminati are out there running the world!

        • Was just thinking I don't want to be connected to anything called the luminati network.

          • @serpserpserp: They're already running the Reserve Bank .. so why not let them do some crypto mining on your PC? ;-)

Unified remote is good and let's you do much more than move your mouse. It has remotes built in to control things on your PC

    • Second this, been using it for years probably the most complete package anyone needs.

    • Third.

    • Looks like there’s an iOS version as well. Thanks.

  • I've usd one called Goldworm remote in the past. It's free and always worked great for me.

  • Would any of these servers work with Android tv? I notice they usually say for pc, Mac and Linux/Ubuntu. Android is technically Linux?

  • Does the paid version of the App require that you accept the T&C to allow them to access/use resources on your PC?

  • Any suggestions for iOS? Thanks.

No thanks. Don't see why it needs to read my files and have full internet access. Worse is that it Runs on Startup.

    • have full internet access

How else does it talk to your computer without network access?
