CSS Scan USD$20 (~AUD$29) (Was USD$50) @ Gumroad

43

They sent me a link for an extra $5 off, so I am letting you know!
Not an affiliate link - I am just a user.

What is CSS Scan?

CSS Scan is a fast way to inspect and copy CSS. Just hover over anything on a website, and it will show you the CSS of that element.
You can copy this entire CSS with a single click.

There are of course alternative free ways of getting this information. But this tool makes it much more convenient.

It is pretty nifty. Try it, and if you like it, you can get it now for US $50, less 50%, less the extra US $5 in the link they sent me.

It is also doing well on Product Hunt:
https://www.producthunt.com/posts/css-scan-2-0

The developer is very active and making continual improvements, which you get for free.

Can't you just use the W3C free option at https://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/

    • +3

      That is something completely different!
      Did you try this?

      Negative vote?
Not that I mind - just performing a public service here :)

If you don't explain the benefit of the paid software over free options, what do you expect?

Also, you haven't included the info for the extra $5 off.

      • The site is oz"BARGAIN" this is not a bargain when their are free alternatives available to validate CSS, HTML, HTML 5.0 etc from the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C)

  • I thought all browsers have this built in? Just press F12.

If you want a fancy viewer, you can get browser extensions like this: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/cssviewer/ggfgijbp…

Wow, maybe I shouldn't have posted this. The negative votes are piling up.

Did any of you haters actually look at CSS Scan?

    • +1

I don't think two negative votes count as "piling up"

  • I think for the average user dev tools and a free web based validator are most likely enough. If you’re doing this all day for work, I can see the value in making it easier and faster.

  • I press f12, ctrl+a, ctrl+c

    • You should make it into an autohotkey script.

      • Ok, I'll patent it.

        • Sell it for $19.99, a much better bargain :p

          • @NGPriest: It's going to be free. It just uses alot of data and processing power.

            <_<
