Would you please put the price on the title?

over $40 a kilo? no thank you

    • This is premium, grass-fed Eye Fillet. That cost per kilo is fairly standard.

Even your run-of-the-mil, non-grass fed Eye Fillet at Coles or Woolies starts at around $43 dollars per kilo.

You do realise that most beef is grass fed.Having said that i personally prefer grass fed over grain fed.

        • Sometimes when cattle are in the stockyards they can be fed silage or grain

          • @Wally: "Sometimes when cattle are in the stockyards they can be fed silage or grain" That will not change anything there is nothing to stop grass fed cattle from being fed a percentage of grain. To be classified as Grain-fed, cattle must be fed a predominately grain based diet for over 60 days.

You won't find many Eye Fillets sold in supermarkets that are actually advertised as grass-fed however, so it's impossible to be sure.

My original point still stands, this is a fairly normal price for an Eye Fillet wherever you look and you pay that price for a reason (taste, texture, tenderness, etc).

  • Become a vegan instead, you'll save heaps

  • Op, can you offer smaller packs as well (3kg in packs of 400g)?
    thanks
