Bought this from BigW month ago at $69, sounds good. Also got lot of connection option. Not a great brand like Sony, JBL, Yamaha or Bose but sound quality is good and reasonable with price. It is now at $39.95 @ Graysonline eBay after 15% off. I think this is quite a nice price.

Item description states brand new but packed in non retail white box packaging. It must be some OEM product not actually sold direct to the public through retail chains.

And since when did a photo company start making audio products.

Since 2001. After years of no-one buying their stuff they went brankrupt in 2001. Along with a bunch of corporate crap going on behind the scenes they started licensing the name Polaroid because that was really the only thing of value in the company.

So this soundbar is likely made by some Yum Cha company in China. Who knows which company made this. It could be a piece of rubbish for all you know.

It 100% is a generic piece of rebranded crap, yes.

  • These are awful I would steer clear. 15W is not worthy of being in a living room. Perhaps for a small bedroom. $40 for latter would be okay then.

Actually according to the specification it's 30W total at 2 x 15W. But that's 30W peak and i don't think it's RMS. I reckon that it probably sounds rubbish.

Even my new Kogan 80W RMS soundbar beats this by far but that one was $99 + delivery. But at least that's RMS sound output.

Correction cheers. These were sold at Big W and I remember how awful the reviews were. People were saying their tv speakers were louder than this thing.

I wouldn't skimp on a soundbar especially if it is for a living room.

I would not skimp on the soundbar either.

I use my Kogan soundbar for a bedroom and it sounds great for that. 80W RMS is plenty.
