I always thought these books would be good for a toddler's birthday present instead of the usual kiddy toy, but could never justify the price. 50% off sweetens the deal plus i found a promo code for another 10% off.

Shipping is free over $25 otherwise it should be $5.

Thank you. This "deal" should be taken down by the mods

Ah FFS PC gone mad again. Why should it matter what colour of skin the author has or if they did blackface back in the day when even A list celebs did it. If anything the article is very racist towards the author/creator. It's creative and fair play for anyone that takes a risk with a product good or bad. I bought these b4 for my niece and nephew cus me and my bros loved rap/hip hop so as a customer I don't see these as children's books, there just a bit of craic for the parents.

I hope your niece and nephew develop a better grasp of the English language…yeah,I am not a fan of PC either

    Terrible book.

I was gifted this for my children, since my friends knew I love rap. Poorly written and terrible quality.

Go to hippoblue and get a personalised meaningful book instead.

  • On many levels, this is just rubbish; the link above is extremely telling. If you want to educate your children on hip hop, get some vinyl or spotify.

Really what the were you expecting from a book titled "1 2 3 With The Notorious B I G" written by a guy who thinks he has a PHD from the street gangs of philli.

  • They use random stage names and actual names with no logic in the abc book

Also P is for pharrell wont help kids learn spelling

Wait… so correct me if I’m wrong , but people are saying don’t buy this book because it’s a book about hip hop which came from black culture but the book was made by some white people and you don’t want the while people to have money from a book they made? (This is my understanding from the link above )

    • +3

If that's what you saw, you should look a bit deeper.

Yeah, I don't let the outrage squad bother me. It honestly isn't an internet fight worth any of our time.

More relevant is @qwerty and @suspect420 who reckon the book is objectively terrible. Politics aside, this is probably not a good buy if you intend it for kids. Good gag gift tho maybe.

      • Shame people don't take the time to read the full article. Please read the article fully, the owners are bonafide racists
