isn't the video review is for a Motorola phone tho?

    • Lenovo owns Motorola

      • So that is the same phone with Motorola logo?

no NFC, sadly. Otherwise ticks most boxes. Very good for the price.

Still sticking with the P2 for now. Better battery and all. If it dies though…I'm gonna be in trouble!

Most phones in China have no NFC, because they have all sorts of mobile payments via barcodes

Figured it must be something like that. Nice to see Xiaomi are putting out some decent phones with it now at least.

Agree, no NFC kills is, also no Android 9 is a bummer.

  • the Sharp S3 @129.99 is a better deal.

How did you get it to $129.99? Showing as $189.39. A good phone, has NFC and Band 28.

        • No updates. Garbage battery.

Security updates are way behind too.

    • Security updates are way behind, and will most likely never catch up.

Just like the Sharp S3 mentioned above, although both phones offer great bang for your buck, don't expect any more official security/updates for either.

  • Understand no NFC or B28, but Google OTA and Lenovo ZUI which as I understand is Lenovo's proprietary overlay over Android 8.1. Can anyone advise. Does Chinese version with global ROM and English language selectivity mean Chinese market packaging, but everything will be in English inc US or Intl keyboard once English is selected in the options?

    Tks.

Tossing up between this and the Sharp Aqua, although this has 6GB vs 4GB in the Sharp (w/B28 which is a plus, but couldn't give a toss about NFC) for the same money

I think its qualcomm vs helio.
Qualcomm generally has better support and third party dev as Helio don't have an unlocked bootloader.
