me too, but i think we don't have 43 Piece, lets just get this one as well

    • 50 piece

At the risk of being a negative nelly, my experience with these Bosch green sets is that the drill bits are as soft as cheese. Still good for occasional use tho, and not a bad price, just not great quality.

    • Any thoughts on decent drill bits at a decent price?

Irwin for everyday random stuff, Kango and Sutton tools for the crazy heavy drilling. I've only ever gotten Kango and Sutton purely because i had to drill big 12mm holes in 4 inch thick concrete. Otherwise i reckon Irwin are fine, heaps better than these random Bosch/Stanley/Ryobi kits. These are the kind that you'll use once, break it and throw it away.

just checked and drill bit still ok after 20 holes into block of cheese so would say they are harder than cheese

  • are these drill bits brand specific or can i use them with this dewalt set too —> https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/460761

    • +4

Drill bits are all brand specific. They are like camera lenses, they will only work with the manufactures products.

And, the Easter Bunny and Santa Clause are real.

      • +3

Except for batteries and chargers. They are universal.

        Unicorns are also real.

        • Unicorns are also real.

And they come in 1kg bags

          • @m9: Easier to clean up …

Be aware, all the Boxed Bosch branded stuff are basically disposable drill bits. The metal is so soft and nasty they will not last more than a few drillings. Better off spending a bit more and getting proper bits that will last years. Will save on landfill!
