    Definitely not a "bargain" the way most people here understand it. Internet is populated with free services everywhere already (posting bargains for FREE at OzBargain!)…

      It is true that you find or use a lot of free service everywhere. As I posted below, google sites is new "free" offering from previously paid service. IMHO, Google site is way better from other free sites, massive storage (up to 10gb) is nowhere near any free hosting that you can get, you'll also get the unrivalled fast and fully redundant mesh google servers around the globe.. etc..

      Let's see what others thinks :)

        Well. Not really the way I am looking at it.

        When Google Sites was launched in February this year, it was only available to the enterprise Google Apps users, and now it is available to standard Google Apps users — it is like a new feature that has become more available, but not really a previous paid product now becomes free. Standard Google Apps users still don't get enterprise features nor support.

      Get your fact straight mate,

      Firstly,

      This is new service offered by Google for previously "paying" business account. So basically this used to be a premium service which now offered for Free. If you don't call this bargain, then what else?

      Secondly,

      Google offers unmatched "free" hosting. Okay, there's geocities, and millions other "free hosting", but honestly, what do you get from there? a tiny few hundred MBs space, "intrusive" pop ups and ads..

      So, please check again before giving out negative vote

    This is just google looking for more ways to harvest data.

    It might have a zero dollar cost, but that doesn't make it "free".

    Again, before you guys casting any more Negative votes,

    please consider that from the point of view that this is a genuine free hosting, easy to deploy web site in just one click, a massive storage limit, google search integrated, ability to add many rich contents, and many more. Personally I don't think any other "FREE" hosting service able to match.

    A service that I can use that I once had to pay for is now free……sounds like a deal to me, dont see why it needs a negative vote so will give you a postive for balance.

    I agree with Vinhlong's comments that as long as it makes ME happy and is useful then its worth it! There are some helpful 'bargains' and some pure informative bargains! Atleast there is one place I go and find a BARGAIN and thats at ozbargain! I look fwd to all the varied things people post on here and love using ones that are applicable to me!Keep up the good work folks!
