  • Keen to know the feedback as well because I need more capsule for my nespresso machine. Only less than 10 left.

    • Also keen for feedback and if anyone knows how it compares to L'or/Moccona pods?

    • I bought a multi pack before.
Found the stronger ones(Roma) to be quite good.
The weaker ones tasted watery for me but are good for espresso martini as they are not too bitter.
However this time just getting Roma.

      edit…
Pods look identical to the ones supplied by Republica brand when I compared side by side as well if you have used that brand before and are wondering about the fit in your machine.

  • +1

I pulled the trigger, hopefully it doesnt taste like shit

is it just me or do the lower intensity capsules usually taste the best? i usually find that the ultra intensity ones tend to be bitter with a harsh after taste, in some cases even a a weird syrupy taste

i went for the 3/5 italianos, hopefully they wont be 100 capsules of manure infused rubbish, or almost as bad flavourless

      • I agree, and i went for the 3/5 as well

  • Don't waste your money…the L'or/Moccona pods are much nicer.

  • The problem with this is if they're really bad, there's 100 of them.

    • They do a mixed box.

I like the hot chocolate but I add a little bit of sugar, although other family members like them as they come.

  • Paid $33 including delivery two weeks back for Roma. Not bad.

  • Bought these before. Bit crap. Messa italian on ebay are better.

    Don't bother. They're crap.
I got 100 of them when I bought a Kiitchenaid Nespresso machine from Kogan.
Tried one of these pods and not only was the coffee awful, the pod didn't work well in the machine.
Kinda gets stuck when trying to eject because they're plastic.

As always with coffee, ymmv. Ive found them ok for a fresh caffeine fix. Has a reasonable crema. Not as good as nespresso with beans grown in the tranquil mountains and no branding.

    • yeah.. you can't expect too much consistency with these things… its always a bit of a gamble even when you think you've found the bees knees… always a risk grabbing a 100 pack.. no doubt a leap of faith.. but at 23c a pop it might just be worth the gamble… recent review seem positive so heres hoping

btw i'd imagine it would be even riskier with nespresso since they have only about half? the coffee.. so it really needs to be some quality and strong stuff, fortunately i have the caffitaly machine
