Samsung PS50C7000 50" FULL-HD 3D Digital Plasma TV for $1095 (RRP $2299)

71

Looks like a pretty good deal to me. The next cheapest i could find this TV was $1279 plus shipping.

Read a lot of reviews who bought from them in the past and almost all feedback was positive. Most people have said that TV's they bought from them had only some minor carton damage or minor scratch marks on the stand, but otherwise a fully functional TV which comes with 12 months manufacturers warranty and 3 years extended warranty for $209 is also available. Delivery to Sydney metro is $45 or free pickup for Sydney metro area is also available.

Also available:

PANASONIC - VIERA 42" (106CM) HD DIGITAL PLASMA TV THP42X20A - $450 (RRP $999)

      This is a factory second

  • Last years model but very cheap non the less .

  • I want 60" non 3D for this money :P

  • Not worth it. I got one brand new with an extra pair of glasses for $1200 a month ago. I don't even use the 3D because the crosstalk is terrible. Fantastic TV otherwise but I think the VT20 at $999 or whatever it was was much better a deal.

    • what do you mean by "crosstalk"

      • the shadows you see when you watch 3D

      • Not so much a shadow as a 'double image'. When you watch 3D, sometimes (usually in dark scenes) you may see a faint second image - if you google crosstalk you may find some examples.

    • Samsung's PQ for SD broadcasting is much better than any Panasonic TVs out there. if you watch 3D 24/7 yeah then you're right!!!

      • Yeah, I have heard reports that Panasonic's SD is very blurry compared to Samsung.

Also, the crosstalk is apparent even if you don't watch too much 3D. There's a whole thread about it on AVForums pertaining to this particular model.

    • Where did you get your TV from?

      • I got it from Good Guys Maribyrnong (Melbourne). I'm not sure if there is stock anymore though as this is a 2010 model.

        • Thanks….still good to know

1000$ and brand new? So why do we bother for a factory second that costs more?
