    In the past tried searching with ‘free’ or ‘0.00’, it worked but not so great titles to read or own.

  Good deal, esp if you enjoy "trashy" fiction. Had a trial before but found most books I'm interested in aren't on KU. There are already plenty of free/99c Kindle books if you search, including older classics.

  HEADSUP - this is NOT "unlimited".

  Subscribed today (to the trial), went to look for the hard-to-find book I had my eye on - I'd already confirmed that there was a Kindle edition available - only to find, no free option. Huh??

  When I queried with Amazon support I was told the author (or whatever, I guess, where the author is not available) has to agree to make a publication available on Unlimited, if they don't then it isn't there.

  Had the same problem with a less rare recent (2017) book that caught my eye today, when I looked after the Amazon contact.

  So it is "Kindle Limited" IMO and of no interest to me as a pay for service. Pity.

    Addendum for those wondering - I am a library member but the hard to find book was only available as an inter library loan at a ridiculous cost - $19 odd…the Kindle edition is $12 odd for example.
