  Will this be better than the original Samsung Galaxy Tab S version 1. Looking to get my mum a new tablet as her one ones out of battery very quickly.

    I can't compare it to the Tab S but it's got a good large screen. Loud single speaker. Speed is adequate.

    I play Hearthstone on it regularly and don't have many issues.

    But it doesn't have an ambient light sensor which is slightly annoying having to adjust the brightness all the time.

  so the 10.5 from last year has a 25% brighter screen, but is $70 more expensive. Annoying to be contemplating paying more for last years model :/
  is there anything else about last years model that is better than this?
