Only do this if sleeping alone or waking up the same time as your partner, other they may be a tad annoyed
Yep, I use Yeelight sunrise to wake me up every morning and once you get used to it, works like a charm.
Do you know if you can also use a Yeelight as you have and also with Google assistant for voice commands?
Yes, very customisable, with assistant, app, and IFTTT, etc.
Yep. Go into Google Home, and add Yeelights.
After logging in you can add it to a room and interact with Google.I have a shortcut to Google Home on my phone and have never used the Yeelight app after that. It's way easier with Google Home.

Android? All you have to do it say" ok google, play white noise" and that is free
I've been using this app for years with my Pebble smartwatch. It requires me up when I'm in a light sleep cycle, so I don't feel groggy in the morning. The statistics and suggestions are brilliant, too.

suggestion: your body wakes up to the light as a natural way (sun rise)
Set a couple of smart switches to the bedside tables or a strip of LED light above the bed head.
Set it to turn on 15 minutes before your alarm.
Your body will wake up gently on it's own (alarm is a back up).
Any standard smart watch monitors sleep.
