[Pre-Order] Bandai Digimon Digivice $34 + Delivery @ JB Hi-Fi

90

I just got an email saying that 1 of my Digivices has been posted from my previous order.
https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/458684#

These look to be back in stock now. Get in before they run out again. Or not.. upto you!

FYI these Pre-orders were previously exhausted at EB, JB and BigW. This is the first time I've seen them relisted.
Whilst not a bargain as such, I'm sure some will appreciate after missing out earlier.

I'm just going to assume any young adult with one of these on their backpacks is well nourished with avocadoes.

This always reminds me how ignorant we all were back when we were playing these in schools.

Everyone thought they were wireless and it was possible to change the outcome of a player battle during a battle.

    • They did?

      • +1

Yep. Pressing certain buttons would win you the battle sometimes. Not really of course but whatever.

      • +2

Friend, it's like how in pokémon you mash the b button to make pokéballs work better.

        • Didn't they say to hold B and down for it to turn into a master ball or something?

At least that was the rumor.

        • +1

          I Still like doing that…

    • Then what's the pendulum shaker for ?

      /s

    • At our school, kids would connect them, then once they'd authenticated sprint in opposite distances.

I don't know what the reason was (or if there even was a reason)

      • I know the reason!

Doing "cheats" while battling was frowned upon, and people also didn't want to share cheats/tactics while battling.

So people would run away so that they could cheat without the other player knowing, or without the player stopping them.

I remember running away from an older student and this made him very angry because it was assumed I was going to cheat/hit buttons.

  • Ordered, will wait 6 months for delivery

  • Time to cut a thin plastic tab that fits at the bottom of the device and shove it in and press the buttons until you 'hack' a champion/ultimate digimon. Those were the days. Young, dumb and full of c-
