Free $25 Voucher for Completing a Survey @ Happy Way

2667

Update: Orders where a payment has been made after redemption of the voucher are being shipped, all other orders are being cancelled. My apologies.

$25 vouchers now require a minimum spend of $50 to redeem.

Free $25 voucher (no minimum spend) for completely a survey.

Not really in the spirit of the deal, but you may be able to sign up for the $25 unique voucher code (without completing the survey) via this link.

Shipping is normally $7, but free shipping seems to be currently available to orders that are $25 or less ($0 after the voucher), so I “purchased” a glass tumbler for free. I was able select a shipping method called “Free Shipping James”.

tumblers are now out of stock

Plenty of other items also under $25, a few examples:

HAPPY WAY SHAKER (400ML) - BLACK
ENERGY BOOSTER TEA 100G
ORGANIC RAW CACAO POWDER (500G)
COCONUT BOWL + COCONUT SHELL SPOON 100% POLISHED

Signing up will subscribe you to the Happy Way newsletter, but it’s easy to unsubscribe.

Use this link for $25. I completed the survey and got a $20 as well but never arrived in my email.

      • +1

I only got 200 Happy Way Points through this link

  • +3

Fell sorry for the fellas at happyway😰

  • +4

I wouldn't be mad if they didn't honor all of these.

  • Yeah, this feels dirty >.<

  • +1

Thanks OP. Fingers crossed it gets honoured and people don't abuse it

    • -1

Come on, be honest. I doubt theres more than 1% of ozbargainers who have placed an order who would be a true potential customer. It's 99% abusers who already know they will never buy again

  • I never heard of happy ways before but i am looking at their vegan protein shakes.. has anyone tried them?

  • +19

Seems like a small Australian operated company, feels unethical.. I will pass.

    • Same here

    • +11

Selling $2 mug for $25. Don’t be so naive

      • -2

where can you get the same mug for $2?

        • +8

          China

    • -2

      uuuu social justice warrior.

    • +2

      Wouldn't a biz put a simple limit .
@ very girly comment seriously and the 15 likes lol :)

Finally let see how ethical the company is if they deliver the normally high margin crap .

    • You won't pass if the tumbler still in stock. Lol.

  • +1

Thanks OP, grabbed a few things :)

  • +1

Thanks OP - ordered myself a coconut bowl/spoon + a larger coconut spoon. No longer shall I be embarrassed by my lack of coconut utensils (hopefully).

  • So…how would you describe ozbargainers in a few words?…

    • +13

      Exploiters

      • +1

        yep…they are just a small Australian business…

    • +8

      Tight asses
      -edit- money smart

  • +3

    My code doesn't work :(

    • +1

Mine doesn't work either. The deal has been ozbargained!

    • Yep, my code doesn't seem to work too :(

    • Same o wells.

  • Woohoo needed some powdered womyn

  • +6

small aussie battlers. if this was amazon id be creating 50 fake emails and taking everything i could. but not these guys. pass

    • +1

Agreed… This is pretty rough for a small family business.
I think they'll have to renege on the offer…. this would be crippling.

Whole warehouse cleared out for no revenue. :(

      • +2

Disagree. Companies blow thru advertising expenses all the time. This could be an alternative.

    • +2

Yup… I remember reading about this company a while ago, it was just a couple of local dudes doing this as a side gig from their PT jobs or something like that. Looks a bit bigger from when they started but by no means a massive company. Hope this deal doesn’t screw them over too hard.

    • Just beware that many items sold on Amazon are sold by third party sellers ie. small businesses.

    • +2

      Disagree.

They even promote to send it to your friends at the end.

So what do you think people do? Send it to one friend and that's it?

What the hell? That alone can be thousands of people.

Don't run a campaign like that then.

      • +2

Yeah.. But I'll bet most ozbers are using the direct link!

  • Think this might be over now

  • +1

I haven't received any code? I tried to re-enter email but it says also subscribed? How long b4 you guys got your codes?

    • +2

I got the code but says "discount code isn’t valid for the items in your cart". I think they're officially ozbargained and revoking all codes.

      • I'm getting the exact same message :(

  • Enter a valid discount code or gift card

  • +21

I think the guy got home from his full time job and thought what the hell has just happened

  • just when I finish the survey - this gets pulled!

  • +1

Yeah completed this half an hour ago and haven't gotten anything via email. And I'd actually be interested in their smoothie products if they turned out good.

  • discount code isn’t valid for the items in your cart

i get this code. i tried different products.

  • +19

2 metal straws $12 which are $0.50 wholesale…A mug for $25 which actually costs $3…

Don’t be naive about the “small Australian business”

    • +1

Battlers, doing it tough and all that crap, who the hell isn't a battler or doing it tough minus the elite and upper 10%? People and their words.

  • Be prepared for cancelled orders 110%

  • +4

Doggy, glass tumble back in stock but discount code is no longer valid.

  • +3

I agree about the impost on a small business… but what price this kind of publicity? OK orders cancelled is likely, but the business keeps our contact details.

    • +3

If it was my business then I'd say 'you can have your contact details back'. You overrate what your details are worth to a small business. And all the big businesses have your details anyway.

  • thought it was weird when I did the survey and it only said "email a friend $20" this was about 2.30pm

  • +3

    Now updated to say

ONLY VALID UNTIL OCTOBER 1ST, 2019 ON ORDERS OVER $50.

  • +2

They changed the code so it only works for orders over 50 dollars. Ozbargained.

  • +18

If they can sell 500g of whey protein for 45 bucks they can afford to give away a few shaker bottles.

  • Happy Way too soon.

  • -1

This is a small, Australian owned and operated company. I’m not sure if the business has grown in recent years, but the last I saw, the owners spent hours upon hours packing orders themselves to get the business off the ground.

I doubt they’ll be able to fill a majority of these orders.

    • +15

If they spent hours upon hours packing then business must be good…

      • Yeah, how lucky are they?

      • +2

Umm normally it's to save on manual labour as manual labour costs are quite high in Australia

As opposed to other countries where they can pay $5-10 an hour

So normally if they are rolling in the money they will be paying others to do it

        • Would they though? Which big company doesn't cut corners in this part? The most richest company in the world did and got slammed for it.

  • Missed it :(

  • :(

    Got my $25 voucher yesterday

    Now on the website:

FREE SHIPPING TO AUSTRALIA AND NEW ZEALAND FOR ALL ORDERS OVER AU$100 - Did they increase free shipping to $100?
Also they jacked up minimum spend to $50 for the voucher as it no longer applies to the cart

Pretty poor changing the terms of the voucher after it's been issued

  • My order is confirmed shipped, although I did spend $20+ (including $7 shipping) after the discount was applied.

  • My voucher is not valid for the tumbler? Why?

    • Seems to be a $50 minimum order now?

      • It didn't say in my voucher though

  • Anyone gotten their tracking details yet?

  • +2

The tumblers are back in stock. Makes me think the orders will be cancelled. I highly doubt they have ordered more stock.

  • +7

    Thanks for your order!

Unfortunately, part of the terms were that only existing subscribers could use the code and that the code could not be used on Merchandise. We've moved the link on the survey to make the terms more obvious.

Due to this, your previous order has been cancelled.

We're sorry this wasn't more clear before you ordered and we do want you to get to experience our products. Because of this, we're offering you 15% off your next purchase*. Use the cold below at checkout.

    • Totes Ozbargained.

    • Same here

    Survey for nothing.

  • +5

Just received an email saying my order has been cancelled for “broke our t and c. Lol

  • +16

    just got cancellation email…

very unprofessional… made up some lame excuse about only existing subscribers could use the code… lol would have respected them more if they had just come up clean and said they made a mistake and cant afford to send out free tumblers…

and also the email said "use the COLD below" …. COLD??? makes me think they used some voice recognition software and spoke to it with an american accent…

  • +7

And they got everyone’s survey results and a truckload of exposure for $0. Geniuses or genuine mistake!?

    • +1

I gave them BS answers anyways….

  • +10

    Yeah bound to happen..

Out of curiosity though what is the voucher even applicable on if not 'merchandise'?
Wouldn't everything you'd buy be 'merchandise'?

  • +16

What's funny is that I ordered powder and not merchandise so in my mind I didn't break their T&Cs. Not that even had T&Cs for the voucher. Literally the only thing it said was "*ONLY VALID UNTIL OCTOBER 1ST, 2019."

  • +8

oh well…. just goes to show. Surveys are always a scam. Maybe we have done our part in educating a business on how to avoid being Ozbargained in the future.

  • +10

Lame excuse from real Aussie battlers, reporting their email as spam if they send me any emails because they broke my t&cs.

  • +1

Damn shoulda just used the direct link instead of doing their survey.

    There was no ToS lol

  • +17

    productreview.com.au here i come….

    • +3

Link to their page on product reviews pls

    • +2

Let me know if there is one. Untrustworthy, own up to your mistake, instead they were fraudulent.

      • +4

I can't find it, tried to leave a review directly on the site seems they have to approve them, no wonder they have 5 stars.. dodgy practice

        • +2

I will spend substantial time and energy trolling this scam company!!!!!!!!

  • +12

    Order cancelled; same generic email.

I'm not surprised, and not even disappointed tbh.

But I think the way that Happy Way has used very dodgy reasons for not supplying the order, and with mis-spelling, suggests that the company is indeed a part-time for someone and not a professional business.

    Unsubscribed.

  • +1

    *Discount not valid on merchandise.

    LOL

  • +3

    Same here,
Probably not their target market lolololol

  • +3

I just got told I broke Ts and Cs too.

  • +4

deal left me in an unhappy way

  • +7

Clearly the mistake was on their side, but blaming it on us for breaking the 'terms'. They now have free survey participants and our valuable personal information.

    • +5

Now they all have your real name, address and phone numbers which can be sold for telemarketing companies.

      • Used an alternative name
      • Sent it to my Parcel Locker (therefore AusPost's address)
      • Used my Amaysim burner number
        Little to no details lost
        ^^
        1000 iq
      • -4

Congrats on wasting your time and money (amaysim sims) setting up all that for absolutely nothing to gain.

        • +3

I got paid to buy amaysim sims (the cashback deals) and I have heaps of time.
