Is This LEGO Seller Site Legit? (I Highly Doubt It but Worth a Shot)

link

Obviously prices are too good to be true but has anyone here seen this site before?

I haven't bought from them and I wont, but just thought i'd see what others on here think.

    I'm not sure.

I clicked on their Informations page but only found a information.

Not enough to make conclusions… Not even one.

    • yeh all i found was a local address but thats pretty much it.

      • Company Name

        Panasonic Australia Pty Ltd

        Office Location

1 Innovation Road, Macquarie Park, NSW 2113

        • Sounds absolutely legit!

    • lmao didnt see that…cheaper than lepin. Cant be legit

    • Oh cmon, I really wanted Mindstorms for $24!

      • Absolute bargain. Broden it.

    • "probably safe"? but it says it was created 8 days ago, thats pretty sus in itself

    • +1

Domain Creation Date - 9 Days Ago (2019-06-26)

This should be a massive red flag for a retail site. It's saying that the website has live been live for 9 days.

    Its a scam….

  • +2

Definitely fake, uk contact number in returns policy info, Aussie number in contact us info.

    Spelling mistakes everywhere.

Too good to be true pricing.

Free dhl express delivery on orders over 60. Thats not commercially viable.

    Steer clear

  • wouldnt be selling real Lego anyway.

The address is for the real Lego Australia

    Tracking is fake!!!

    • Selling lego. And company address is lego office building.

      Sounds legit.

      /s

  • The phone and fax numbers are the same…lolll

Email address comes up in scam warning websites.

Some Malaysia company references here and there too.

  • One of the tabs on the homepage is 'LOGE HARD TO FINDS'…

  • +2

    Much Loge, much good

  • Our phone and fax number is the same and has always been the case. The fax machine is simply wired into the landline circuit and operates automatically.

  • Checking whois information is a little sketchy, SSL cert seems to come from cloudflare, don't think they're too expensive to get (sometimes free for a certain amount of time). Information seems to be obscured by PrivacyGuardian, while not a super bad thing, for a shopping website I'd imagine that information should be available (since you have it on your site as well).

The Privacy Policy seems to talk about "Lego AU" instead of "House Home of Brick" or "Toybon" or "Lego House!".

Still though, biggest flag is price as others have said, I guess $20 isn't much of a gamble, assuming they don't try to steal your information/address/card stuff etc. Personally I probably wouldn't do it (or I'd use a pre-paid visa card if they still exist). But the price just seems too cheap, I'd say nah.

    • ohh a good use then of the Ben and Jerry visa gift cards

I like how the discount symbol conveniently covers the area where Lego branding would be

    • I reverse image searched a couple of their logos and images, it's all pulled from the official website and promotional material.

  • I like that website theme. A search of ipaustralia.gov.au doesn't have any results for "home of the brick", "lego house", or "toybon". I don't know if recent trademarks are put up right away, but why is the site called toybon. This kit costs $1300 on Myer, but here it $24 https://www.toybon.com/lego-star-warsamp153-millennium-falco…

  • Anyone buys from that site is paying your IQ tax. LOL.

  • Found this with some good points.

Even the counterfeit LEGO wasn’t this cheap. Haha
