As a Bacardi drinker this is the cheapest I have seen apart from duty free for ages , normally $52 on sale at the usuals .
Some great coupons still floating around to use on boozebud .
I bought some of the $10 vouchers from groupon as a current customer which give 5 x $10 vouchers and free shipping on boozebud ,min
spend is $49 so threw in a bottle of something to get over the min . If you havent bought from boozebud even better savings to be had

Why bacardi is so expensive here. Overseas you can have it for like $15.

      Excise tax. https://www.ato.gov.au/Business/Excise-and-excise-equivalent…
If I understood it and did the math correctly it would cost $34 just for that tax. On top of that you got GST, shipping it here and I think we probably have specific handling and labeling requirements.

        yep.. pretty much.
same reason why its considered illegal to distill your own spirits in australia.
it is possible to get a distillers permit from the ATO, but need to declare what you make, and pay $83/L of 100% ABV (though it is impossible to make more then 96% outside of a lab - most homebrew shop stills will make 93%)

The same reason most things cost more than anywhere else in the world?

      You're doing it wrong.
Use your Gmail account sign up as email@Gmail. Com, then [email protected], [email protected], etc.

All information gets sent to [email protected], but the sites always treat it as a new email

      • doesn't work anymore?

        • Should?
I signed up for the recent eBay plus weekend deals using this method.
Maybe some websites are getting smart?

          • @Salmando: Sorry as in boozebud disallows the use of this email method.
