  • finally bought ram after holding off for ages, hopefully ryzen 3 compatible.

    • You should be good, from what I e read the new Ryzen chip won’t be as held back with regards to RAM speeds this time around.

      • thats good to hear, now to find a b450 micro atx board & cpu cooler

  • Would this ram be ryzen 5 compatible ?

    • +2

Now that the zen architecture has matured over the last few years generally any 3200MHz kit even if not ryzen compatible as listed both 1st and 2nd gen (and most likely 3rd gen) ryzen will still easily run it at 3200MHz unlike at launch.

      • Thanks for your help, as it didn't mention Ryzen compatible (ready) I thought I'd ask.

  • Amd recommends c14 at this speed for best performance.

  • Damn looks like no more stock

  • Any recommendations on B450 motherboards to go with these?
It's been mentioned a few times on OzBargain to make sure the RAM you purchase is on the motherboard's QVL (so deemed compatible by the manufacturer).
I went looking for B450 ATX motherboards (starting at cheapest) that had G.Skill ram on their QVL, but looked like only would list expensive G.Skill Trident RGB ram…

  • Stock available again. I just bought some.
