    Yea it's not bad.. but refurbished means what in this case? I suppose it's apple, it can't be too bad if the warranty sticks. Good find.

    BigW were selling them new not so long ago for prices like this IIRC…even if it was the Aussie site I still don't reckon that's good value for refurbed old tech! :o

    on top of this, there are better choices.
    the Acer iconia A500 is an excellent iPad/ipad 2 alternative.
    Its specs were equal to the iPad 2
    Retail price is $525. (I am sure I can haggle it down to $500)

        True, however there's a lot of shite on both 'markets'…how many piddly games & face changing/funny cat/ebook reader apps do you really need?

        LOL, it's a bit like the age-old linux situation…how many text editors does one OS need? :)

          all the essential apps are available on both platforms… depends on your social orientation i guess… different strokes for different blokes i guess :)
