10% off @ Sicilia Coffee

THANKS10

I recently bought a wonderful bag of coffee from Sicilia Coffee in Adelaide. The postage was $8 (and gets cheaper the more you buy per item/averaged). They put a little slip in the bag saying that I can get 10% off their already cheap prices by using the code THANKS10 on checkout! Keep in mind you usually have to pay shipping with other sellers anyway

Bargains? TEVO MINI MACHINE CLEANING TABLETS (JAR OF 60) = $13.05 or $20-30 elsewhere
1KG of decaf for $21.50 https://www.siciliacoffee.com.au/products/decaf-1kg
1KG of drinking chocolate $8.91 https://www.siciliacoffee.com.au/products/drinking-chocolate… (More cocoa than others, even richer available)
1KG of italian blend $13.05 https://www.siciliacoffee.com.au/collections/1kg/products/it… (If Aldi doesn't float your boat)

I am also getting 'Co2 bubbles', the odd 'pop' as I'm extracting. The beans also taste slightly flat so they are very freshly roasted! Still a good cup and should be even better in a few days!

Seems to be an unpretentious roaster who likes quality at good value. Not someone trying to sell beans at $40-50/KG!

  • @kronicmacstigator Is the Italian blend a strong flavoured coffee. Partner has tried a few on OZB, but we always end up back at our local supplier. She wasn't impressed with the Vittoria Mountain goat one.

    • Not sure, it says it's one of the stronger blends they sell. Call them up and ask? :)

All good. There is a sampler pack we might try.

    • She wasn't impressed with the Vittoria…

I'm no expert but doubt you'll get freshly roasted Vittoria beans in Australia

The strongest is definitely 'double roast', then 'crema forte' - two best blends in my opinion. 'Italian blend' is 3rd or 4th in the line. I'm their customer for the last few years. Meanwhile tried many others and always coming back to Sicilia Coffee

      • @wallaby12. Thanks for your comments. Just ordered the 4 sampler strong pack. See how It goes. Still works out a lot cheaper then going to my local supplier here in Vic even with postage for 1kg.

  • "You say your coffee is fresh, but how fresh is it?
Our coffee doesn't sit on our shelves gathering dust - we roast to demand. It is then heat sealed in a special purpose bag to lock in the aromatic oils, and features a one-way valve to retain the flavour but prevent air ingress."

    seems good

    • My bag is fresh, believe me. Inconsistent pour which can only be solved by letting the beans age a bit more… BUUUUUURRRRRRPPPPPPP

  • You can only use this coupon only once per account.

I bought from these guys many times. They make very good coffees at affordable prices.
Even their decaf (for those who need it) is very nice and inexpensive.
    Shipping is always fast.

  • Also coupon didnt work for one of the sampler 4x250g packs but it worked for a 2x500g sampler… Anyway, I wanted to give it a go. Do they print the roasted on date on the package?

Mine didn't have it on the bag but they are definitely fresh
