40-44k Velocity points for $49 is not bad. Flexible to Krisflyer and Skywards for slightly less.
Downsides are it's Citibank and no lounge access with linked Diners Club.

Really? At one stage they offered me credit limit of $45,000 so I think Citi is generous.
Gone are those generous days, I got two from them with that limit. I got rejected this time as soon as I applied, which meant that my file was flagged and somehow not eligible.
I then applied for Bakwest's and got approved for the world one.
I got that too. I was shocked, it's the first time I've ever been rejected from a credit card.
Does anyone know what the minimum income is for this card?

Usually platinum cards need 75k so if this 35k then it's very generous, quick apply

I have one. No additional cost and no additional credit check. Diners is linked to the same account.
No extra cost but for 4k points not really worth the possible credit check.
1 Krisflyer = 3 Citi points. Would go for it for this if wasn't Citi.

I don't' think you can transfer citi points to Qantas. The only options are velocity, krisflyer and skywards.
Still awaiting on response from last month's application! Ridiculously slow - all other cards I've got in my hand in about a week.

I dont't see a reason why you can't. You just need to fulfill the minimum spend requirement.
