          @ozhunter68: No it won't. There is an adaptor for the end attachments u can buy off eBay for cheap. Adaptor fits between unit and attachments. However no power pin extensions on the adaptor…so think wand could connect but no power to the brush head

            @Sammyboy: Interestingly I was able to attach a quick release attachment from a V10 to my V7 trigger. Perhaps these are (unofficially) compatible?

              @P1xellat3d: The attachments for v11 and v7 look the same. The same red tab. V6 is very different attachments

                @Sammyboy: Aah, that makes sense, planned obsolescence. Make you upgrade to complete new system.

                The V10 and V11 would have come out around same time as V7 with same size/spec for attachments.

    absence of a shaft. Knowing Dyson they typically don't make things interchangeable for obvious reasons.

  I just tried using the adaptor to connect the old V6 wand to the V11 and it does not connect! The socket on the wand has a few extra groves and bits compared to the v6 attachments. I've uploaded a pic of the adaptor, and another pic of how it connects to the old V6 accessories.
