I always wanted a Golion/Voltron set when I was little, so I finally got 2 for myself for my kids(this one has wings for some reason)

These are based on the Netflix/Dreamworks series. But they did do a rerelease of the 84 series under the Classic name

Edit: rumour says Bandai will re-release (preorder) GoLion this month. Its actually will be released this month. Dang I'd missed again, not going to pay 500+ for that!

I had the original diecast one in the 80s and the Black lion had red wings then? Or am I missing something?

Have you checked HotB warehouse on ebay. They usually are part of 20% promo with e-plus shipping.
Big W should give a commission to ozbargain. Their Voltron stock has nearly wiped out lol.
