  • what about this one on ebay for $15 plus GST?

    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Xiaomi-MiJia-wiha-Multi-Tool-Mag…

That looks to be a knockoff, and not geniune Xiaomi. I wouldn't trust the bits to be properly hardened.

so the Chinese are knocking off the Chinese now? hahaha

      • also if you order and its a counterfeit, ebay just sends the money back and you keep the item.

Shit I just checked my $12 AliExpress purchase and I can see they've removed "Xiaomi Mijia Wiha" from the title since I've bought it. Asked for clarification and am expecting a full refund once they confirm it's a knockoff.

There is no logo on the product

    • Can tell straightaway the quality of the bits are nowhere matching the wiha ones

    • I'm looking at the one I got from Shopro. There is print on both sides of the case "wiha" on one side and "Warning: do not use on powered devices" on the other. The eBay one doesn't. There is only one ring around the end of the handle on mine, not three. The colours are different. The shape of the handle is a bit different.

  • Your price is not competitive at all considering local deals pop up regularly at about the same price.

    • Just about to order this, obviously there are significant benefits to buying domestically but to say it's "not competitive at all" seems incredibly unreasonable. Am I missing something?

If a local store is able to stock an overseas made product locally, ship them out via our overpriced postal network, and still comes in at about the same price, well in my books that makes the overseas seller not competitive. Especially when you factor in cheap subsidized shipping from China, there's no reason why Banggood can't deliver these made-in-China-screwdrivers at a much lower price.

        • Very reasonable point and I agree. Frankly I thought you were implying there were significant drawbacks to buying this item from Banggood over stores with AU stock (namely ShopPro in this case) but that's my bad.

Ordered, along with another tiny Xiaomi backpack since they're irresistibly cute for a tenner.

          • @flopsy: Nah I've bought tons from Banggood myself but only when they are significantly cheaper than what's available locally. Unfortunately those deals seem to have dried up, pretty much the same can be said with Gearbest.

            Enjoy your cute pink backpack.

  • Mine says $20.04 Australian with all charges at checkout.

What catagory Shopback does this fall in?

    • I paid AU$21.62, which is still cheaper than the quoted AU$23.22. Weird.

      • Shows as $24.17 for me. Fortunately I don't need another set.

  • Bought from gearbite very similar price, but I wish I get wowstick instead. Yes more expensive but it has motor. What do you guys think?

    • Wowstick looks good, but much more expensive!

      • yeah but feel this wiha is nothing special still the same old manual drivers (yes material is amazing).

        • I spose it's good for the price? Wowstick is triple the price unless you find a good sale?

use the code BGSSAFF9 to bring it down by $2.17, making it $22 on my end anyway. hope this helps anyone who's planning on buying this :)
