Great prices. Don't remember seeing these games this low before, at least hard copy versions.

You might as well add the Eevee version to your list.

    • Added Eevee, thanks.

  • +1

Thank you! Finally grabbed Zelda BOTW been waiting for it to be around $50. Haven't seen it below like $65

    • Man, you do wait don't you? The game came out 10 years ago LOL

      • lol yeah I wasn't in a rush for it, probably wont get time to play it, but one day I might haha.

        • +2

Haha, amen to that, any deals on time going around? Seriously 😄

    • +1

I also picked up BoTW, i only recently got a switch 2 weeks ago and only have Smash & Mario Party (for the kids).

I was going to pick up BoTW with the $135 coupon deal and have it digitally, but cant pass up the price.
I signed up last week as a 30 day trial with Prime and also watched some Prime Video which gave my account a $10 voucher to use on orders >$20, so I ended up paying $41.75 for BoTW!! Can't wait to dive in.!

      • +1

Digital is for rogue likes and high replay value games. BOTW is neither of these.

Physical all the way. Then sell it when done.

    • I bought it the other day second hand for $40. I only got a Switch last year, but I too just didn't want to pay full freight.

Make sure you buy the DLC that is also on sale now for 30% off! I think that is the cheapest it has been.

  • +1

Waiting for the Switch console deal (if there is one), should I buy games now? Can they sell out?

    • +1

In the same position, would like to know as well

    • +2

Buy now. At this price you can sell and probably won't cost you anything

  • +2

There's also an additional 10% off Nintendo products from this selection here.

    • +3

Had me excited for a moment, but that's a pretty weak selection.

Still, thanks for the heads up.

  • +1

Damn, was hoping for some newer games, sigh!!!!

  • Is Mario Kart good as a single player game?

    • +1

Well if you don't play it on your own, you are bound to embarrass yourself in split-screen and online.

    • +3

If you have never played this version, seriously, buy it now.

    • +1

      Yeah, it's great.

Until some **** hits you with some **** millimetres before the finish line on the last lap of the last track of the cup and ****s your 3 stars…

but yeah, emphasis more on being great lol.

        • +3

Uh… it’s mario kart dude. Always been this way.

    • It is a lot of fun. But to be honest the unlockables to make you play the whole game is pretty weak. I kinda stopped trying to perfect the game when I realized there was no reward for all that frustration.

      • +1

This sentence can be applied to any video game ever made.

        • Not really. Some games have great unlockable stuff that makes the game more fun or interesting towards the end (ie. super powerful characters, items, items that make things goofy etc.) Mario Kart just has vanity unlocks, nothing that makes the game more fun.

          • +1

@serpserpserp: Are you wanting a super powerful character that beats everyone with ease and ruins the game balance?

It's an online competitive/party game. What did you expect?

            • +1

@Ninternet: Can't remember what the unlockable content was but I remember Mario Kart DS had lots of cool unlockables for finishing the missions and getting 3 stars on each track; I never felt the later games had the same thing. Probably because most people play it multiplayer and more emphasis is on that than single player which is fair enough.

            • @Ninternet:

Are you wanting a super powerful character that beats everyone with ease and ruins the game balance?

I didn't say that at all.

  • +1

Cheers for the post. Got the games. Now just need to see if they put the console on sale! If not i'll just cancel my order. :)

    • not a bad idea

    • What if they ship the games before they put the console on sale?

      • disaster then…

      • +1

I mean, you could sell them at cost price, with only labour as an expense. It'll definitely sell.

        • Fair point, pulled the trigger and bought a couple

    • Not looking good…

  • wasn't pokemon go for 39 bucks last year?

  • +2

Bugger, bought Mario Kart last Monday for $62 at Big W…but have had lots of fun playing it the last week with the kids so that justifies the extra cost to me.

At least that’s what I’m telling myself.

    • I got a pre-owned from FBMP last Friday for 50$, at least the kids enjoyed playing during the weekend, telling myself

  • Nice price for BOTW. You can't even get preowned on eBay for less than $60.

    • I got it for $40 the other day on eBay. Best way to get it cheap is to hit up a guy that is selling multiple games in one listing and making an offer for 1 or 2 games out of the list. I did this with Donkey Kong and BOTW and got it for $80 delivered.

  • +1

Where is the console? Grabbed some games in anticipation, worst case sell at cost price.

  • +1

And Yoshi’s Crafted World for $49.60. I’ve always loved the Yoshi Games.

  • Any deal for smash bros???

  • Good post :) Thinking about Super Mario Odyssey, good game for parties?

    • It's single player

      • It has co-op so it works for a party with one guest.

        • +1

That doesn't sound like a very good party.

The 'co-op' mode sucks in this game, player 2 doesn't really do anything. The game is designed to be played solo.

    • +1

You are looking for Mario Party.

    • +1

Probably want Mario Party for gaming with 4 people etc. Just Dance is also good with more than two people, but subscription required for a lot of the songs.

  • Hopefully a deal comes out for the new super mario bros deluxe!

  • No deal on the Pokémon Let’s Go Controller Ball Bundle?

  • Does Jb Hi-fi price match with Amazon?

    • No.

    • If delivery is free, they might.
Once I asked for Blurays and told they could not cos +delivery apply on Amazon

  • +1

Remember that time people tried arguing that first party games never go for sub-$50. Tools.

    • It's pretty much true though. First party games pretty much always stay above $50 until they become 'Nintendo Select' titles. I don't see how people speaking the truth are 'tools'.

      • Pretty much never is not never. I've had a switch since launch and vaguely monitored prices since, deals for first party switch games around ~$50 pop up every 6-12 months, they're not THAT rare. Trying to make out that it never happens and $69 is a BARGAIN makes you a tool (IMO).

  • BOTW back to $84.

  • +1

Damn, spent too long thinking about BOTW now it's back to the regular price.

  • Mario Kart seems to be out of stock?

  • Mario Kart seems to be out of stock in my cart?

  • Missed out on this. Thought I had the correct game and accidentally purchased Super Mario Odyssey… only realised when order arrived. Now have to return it.
