Don't know why I'm thinking of buying this, already own a rift.

Move controllers are pretty essential to the VR experience, but sold separately right?

(Haven't got a PS4 yet, just trying to tally up the total cost for VR)

It's stupid they don't uncle those archiac controllers. Hopefully the whole thing is redesigned for ps5

This is what's holding me back. Move controllers seem to be about $120.

I’ve snatched some up a pair market place for around $60

They were $103 on the big W ebay deal a few weeks ago.

      •

Yeh that's what I'm seeing. No one ever seems to mention the extra cost in the VR deal posts though. Was wondering if they were bundled with something and I was just missing it.

It seems there are some specific game bundles available in the US that include the controllers (e.g. Creed).
But I haven't seen any local controller bundles.

          Not every game uses them.

If they bundled them in, it would just cost more for everyone else who doesn't play those kind of games.

I had the PSVR and sold it all (including Logitech G29 and a racing sim seat). Now waiting for Oculus Quest… plugging everything to the PS4 is a pain.

Although, in my opinion though, Move Controllers feel way more natural to hold for Beat Saber :)

I leave everything plugged in except the headset. So the little box is set up already. All I need to do is plug it into the little box.

I don't get why people need to unplug that box. It doesn't do any harm staying as a passthrough when you're not using VR.

        •

Yeah, why would you unplug and how often?

Also, are other VR sets just a single USB? My PSVR just sits there after some initial figuring out.

  •

Awesome, just picked up the $220 bundle and have move controllers on the way. Couldn't justify the extra $60 for the games when the only one that really interested me was Skyrim and i can get that much cheaper.
